Up for Auction is a 2007 (2007.5) dodge ram 3500 slt dually 2 wd four door long bed diesel. it has 155000 miles on it and i am the second owner of this truck. the first owner was a friend of mine who soley used it to drive back and forth from his job as a tractor salesman, i have used it mainly as a daily driver but pull my aluminum 3 horse trailer with it on weekends sometimes.Drives like brand new with no play in the steering, the four rear tires are new last november and the front two were new in september. i have never had any problems with the truck mechanically and has always driven like a dream. at 108000 miles i put a SMARTY JR programmer with a H & S EGR and EGR cooler delete kit and a FLO-PRO 4 inch turbo back exhaust with a flow trough muffle that sounds good outside but is nice and quite inside the cab. I have not had the programmer past stage 1 which is fuel economy, i get roughly 17 in town and 23-25 on the highway. If i was smart i would have intalled that stuff a long time ago, truck runs amazing and gets good milage and can never tell the trailer is back there. It also has the JAKE brake which is one of the best things ive ever had pulling a trailer, works great and takes alot of wear off the brakes. the interior is like new except for a few coffee stains on the carpet. The six speed transmission shifts great and all the gears are solid. the bad, but not that bad pictures on here of it, i was at a ropin and another trailer hit my bumper and left a 2 inch dent, it did not bend or break any of the brackets behind the bumper or cause any damage to anything other than what is seen on the outside. also the tailgate is bent from the the bumper being raised, it works fully, just doesnt open totally, i took getting a new bumper from the dodge house (most expensive) into the price and knocked off 1000 from what i was asking thinking that was fair. also there is a white scuff mark on the right rear dual from a painted piece of plywood i walked by with, if its an issue i will give you $100 when you buy it to get it buffed out. also there is a small ding the the front passanger door, i tried my best to show these thing in the photos, call or text me at 254-459-1177 for info. truck is for sale locally in stephenville tx and can be viewed if you just call me. Bank still has title, as soon as cash is given to bank you will have it, it is a clear title. i will take the truck up to 50 miles once payment is received, prefer cash but a bank/cashiers check or personal check is fine once it has cleared my bank. again call or text with any question!!!

2014 Dodge Durango Ron Burgundy ads already have 2.7M views [w/videos]
Mon, 14 Oct 2013The guy who once made the Dodge Stratus a punchline of sorts is now a spokesman for the 2014 Dodge Durango, and the move appears to be paying off handsomely for Dodge. Will Ferrell, acting as 1970s-era TV news personality Ron Burgundy, has teamed up with the automaker for co-branded advertisements between the refreshed 2014 Durango and Ferrell's new movie, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Like Ferrell's fictional character, the ads are outrageous, flamboyant and a bit random. They're also successful: Automotive News says that more than 2.7 million people have already watched the videos since they debuted on October 5.
Those views are similar to the numbers that AN's top viral video of the year (e.g. Volkswagen's "Get Happy" Super Bowl ad) received, but there will eventually be as many as 70 videos comprising the Burgundy-Durango spots. According to the report, the videos were created primarily as a viral campaign online, although some are airing on television, too. For Dodge's part, the cost of the videos was significantly lower than a usual television campaign thanks to the fact that Ferrell wasn't paid for the spots since they were made in cooperation with promotional efforts for his new movie.
We've already posted a few of the videos in our previous post, but scroll down for several more - and head over to Adweek for a little added background on how these spots came to be.
Our interview with Jeremy Clarkson and James May, plus SEMA! | Autoblog Podcast #491
Fri, Nov 4 2016This week, David Gluckman and Mike Austin talk SEMA madness, mis-aligned steering wheels, wireless charging, McLarens (they're sports cars!), and decals. As always, we talk about a variety of cars we've been driving and then respond to some questions from listeners. And as a bonus, there's a trivia question mixed in. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want questionable buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. Oh, and please send trivia questions! You'll get the honor of stumping your fellow listeners, and we'll thank you too. Brits recreate iconic Bullitt chase scene
Tue, 13 May 2014Recreating the famous chase scene from Bullitt has become almost an art form in its own right. We've seen it done in a music video, with scale models and even in commercials. There are few films that are as defined by a single scene as the 1968 classic. Even if you don't know a single beat of the plot, the Highland Green Ford Mustang racing a Dodge Charger through the hilly streets of San Francisco is famous. It's so well known that the Silverstone Classic has created a homage to promote its celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang at this year's event in July.
Filmed around the famous UK circuit, the short film generally gets the key points of the scene right. It even has a green Volkswagen Beetle that keeps reappearing, as in the movie. Unfortunately, its Steve McQueen stand-in looks a little too old for the role. While the video shortens the chase considerably, it's still great to see these '60s behemoths leaning and sliding around the track. Scroll down for a touch of nostalgia thanks to one of the greatest scenes ever in cinema - we've got both the recreation and the original chase seen from the movie waiting for you.
