Up for auction is this 1992 Dodge Ram 350 Club Cab One Ton Dually Two Wheel Drive. It belongs to a good friend of mine that bought it brand new. He does not own a computer so he asked if I could list it for him. The truck is on my lot in case anyone wants to come and check it out. This truck has the popular Cummings Turbo Diesel "hummin cummins" as it is often refered to and that is just what it does. Truck runs, drives and handles great. It has 230,000 miles and will do many more when properly maintained. This truck has only been used to tow show cars and parts back and fourth from Florida, Carlisle and Hershey P.A. After that it is stored in his garage for the winter. So it is up and down the road miles. The truck is loaded and has Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Casette, Int Wipers, Cruise Control, Rear Cargo Light, Cloth Interior, Full Front Bench Seat with Two Jump Seats in the rear, Sliding Rear Window, Pop Out Rear Side Windows, Two Tone Paint, Etc. This truck also has the LE Package, 4,000 Pound Front Axle, 3.5 Axle Ratio, Spicer 70 Rear Axle and 12X3.0 Rear Brakes. Everything on this truck works. The interior is in decent shape. The carpets are soiled and need a good cleaning. Also the head liner has come unglued and is pinned up. The exterior of the truck still retains all its original paint. A good buff will bring it back. The only rust on the whole truck is the drivers outer side rocker panel has some rust through and is covered by tape and a small rust spot started on the lower passenger front fender (see pics). Underneath is good and clean as is the rest of the body. Does have a couple of minor dents on both front fenders. Has always had a bed liner in it. Has all matching tires except one outside rear. Tread is a little less than 50%. Has a nice strong tow hitch and electric brake setup. I know a lot of the Mopar guys prefer this style and type truck as it is the last of the breed. With a little TLC this truck can be made very nice and will do the job at a fraction of what a new one costs. The owner just bought a new 2013 Dodge truck similar to this and spent over $60,000. We have all original owners books and paperwork with a clean original title. You can fly in and drive this truck home. We drive the cars of Furious 7... in Forza Horizon 2 [w/video]

Thu, Apr 9 2015

On March 27, Turn 10 Studios, the folks behind the Forza Motorsport series, and Universal Pictures, the studio responsible for the Fast and Furious franchise, gave us a match made in heaven, announcing a "standalone expansion" featuring the two franchises. Called Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious, it features the cars from the latest film installment, unique missions and the voice-acting of Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, who plays tech guru Tej Parker on camera. A Fast and Furious video game? Seems like a no brainer. It gets better. Rather than limiting the Fast and Furious Edition cars to the expansion game, Turn 10 made them available through one of their (some may say notorious) downloadable content packages. Eight of the expansion's 11 cars were made available for just $4.99 (the only cars that weren't included were the Fast and Furious Edition Nissan GT-R, while the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and McLaren P1 are already available in-game). What's cool ais that the cars featured in both games are visually identical to the vehicles driven by the stars of Furious 7. Each in-game car has an on-screen parallel that plays a role in advancing the film's story. Considering that we're unlikely to score seat time in Dominic Toretto's real Dodge Charger, then, we figured we'd take to the game and test the car in the digital realm. We've got nine little cluster reviews, covering the cars both in the game and how they appear in the movies. And don't worry, there are no major spoilers here. Click on for the cars of Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Fast and Furious Edition Supercharged 7.2L V8 / 900 HP / 663 LB-FT The one vehicle that is mandatory in a Fast and Furious video game, Dom's hot-rodded 1970 Dodge Charger, is as much a character in the films as its driver. Furious 7 marks the fourth appearance of this Mopar beast in the series. Not surprisingly it's a handful to drive, wildly quick and with a four-speed transmission packed full of very tall gears. But beyond that, it's arguably the coolest of the FF Edition cars. This black beauty is exactly as it appears in the latest installment of the film, with the video game version featuring intricate little details, like the moving parts on the BDS supercharger. It's an iconic car, and it's treated as such in the game.

2013 Dart GT will hold us over until SRT stokes Dodge's handsome compact

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

No, this isn't quite the Dart SRT4 we've been waiting for - and still believe is coming - but as part of its 2013 Detroit Auto Show lineup, Dodge will be showing off the slightly sportier Dart GT seen here.
Building on the already well-equipped Limited model, the GT adds performance enhancements including a more powerful engine, 18-inch aluminum wheels, sport suspension calibration, unique front fascia and dual exhaust. Inside, you'll find perforated Nappa leather seats, a heated steering wheel and front seats, dual-zone climate control, remote start (if you spec the automatic transmission), Chrysler's 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, a seven-inch TFT display in the gauge cluster, and a whole lot more. Optional goodies include hyper black aluminum wheels, a technology group (pushbutton start, keyless go, rain-sensing wipers, blind spot monitoring and smart-beam headlamps), power sunroof, Sirius radio, Garmin navigation, Alpine premium sound and high-intensity discharge headlamps.
Powering the Dart GT is Chrysler's 2.4-liter MultiAir2 four-cylinder engine producing 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. That grunt is sent to the front wheels via a standard six-speed manual transmission, but a six-speed automatic 'box is optional.

Watch dual-engined Dodge SRT4 do a FWD burnout, a RWD burnout, then AWD launch

Wed, Dec 3 2014

There's something fantastically insane about racers who go out on their own and build something unique. Just take this crazy video from last year of a twin-engine Dodge SRT4 at a drag strip that can burn the rubber at either end – or both ends – at a moment's notice. With tires sticking out way past the fenders, a massive cooling system at the front and no back window to speak of, this Dodge is clearly meant solely for speed. Though it's real party trick is being able to spin the front or rear wheels independently. The setup makes for three quite showy burnouts. When it came time to actually get down the track, things got somewhat awkward. Like other twin-engine creations we've seen, the separate powertrains make for some odd sounds and a weird look launching down the strip. Still, there's no doubt that the engineering behind this Frankenstein is very impressive. Scroll down to see this monster in action and another of it in a very mismatched race last year.
