Up for sale is a 1992 Dodge Ram 250 LE.  It has the legendary 5.9 Cummins intercooled Turbo Diesel.  The truck is 4x4 and is a factory 5 speed truck.  The factory Getrag transmission has been upgraded with a NV 4500 5 speed.  Along with the transmission being upgraded the turbo has also been upgraded to an HX 35 Turbo and makes around 28 psi of boost.  The rotary pump has had a Smokey Dogg fuel pin installed as well as 3k govenor springs.  Along with having Banks full exhaust including muffler and tip it also has a PACbrake exhaust brake.  In the rear the truck has airbags to level the truck when hauling loads and the airlines have been ran for easy access to air them up.  On the inside it has had gauges installed to monitor the EGT and boost and they are all AutoMeter and have been properly installed.  It does not a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch. This truck is not your ordinary truck.  It is very clean and has always been well cared for as you can tell from the pics.  It has not seen much Kentucky winter weather and has been garage kept since I have owned it.  I no longer have a use for a truck this size so I have decided to sell it.  I have receipts from the previous owner of most of the upgrades done to this truck.  Anything that has been to this truck has been done only to improve fuel mileage, performance, durability, and longevity of the truck.  I purchased the truck from an older gentleman from California and had it shipped to Kentucky.

Feel free to text or call me for any other information needed about this truck at 270-230-5846

I as the seller reserve the right to end the auction early due the truck also being for sale locally.  A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end.  The buyer will be responsible for any other fees acquired with the purchase of this truck including shipping fees.

Dodge Vipers selling for $480k in China

Wed, Apr 29 2015

Want to get your hands on a new Dodge Viper? Be prepared to pay dearly. It starts at nearly $90k here in the US, but that's nothing compared to what you'd have to pay for one if you lived in, say, China. CarsNewsChina.com reports on one Viper available in Beijing for an eye-watering 298 million yuan – equivalent to about $480,000 at today's exchange rates and representing more than a 500-percent markup. Part of that premium comes down to the Chinese tax code that charges a reported 60 percent for anything with an engine displacing over four liters. And the Viper's, we needn't remind you, is more than twice that. It naturally costs some to import a car to China as well, but most of the rest is pure profit. The Beijing dealership reportedly gets the cars from dealers in California, has already sold three and plans to import several more. The dealer can also get you (or wealthy Chinese individuals) a Corvette Stingray for a comparatively cheap 1.73 million yuan (or $280k). Related Video:

Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn

Fri, Mar 27 2015

We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:

Daily driving a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Tue, Feb 9 2016

I took delivery of my 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat at Ron Carter Dodge in League City. Bobby Pate and the entire Ron Carter team made the buying experience painless. Thanks, guys! It was worth the nine-month wait to get a new Challenger Hellcat at sticker price. My Hellcat is Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl with a black interior. The car has the six-speed manual transmission and UConnect. Yes, I know the eight-speed automatic is faster, but the manual transmission provides a level of enjoyment that must be experienced to be appreciated. My original intention was to write daily about my experiences with the Hellcat, but I have been having too much fun with the car. The first 100 miles required incredible self-control to keep the car under 55 mph and engine speed under 3500 rpm. The difference in the driving experience after 500 miles was – and I am only exaggerating a little – life altering! The Red Key To paraphrase Morpheus in The Matrix, "You take the black key, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red key, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes." The black key is in a place where it will stay until the red key is snatched from my cold, dead hand. The red key is the only key. The red key is "The Key." All 707 horsepower are available with the red key. You can lower the horsepower to only 500 using the SRT pages, I have heard, but why? I have driven the Hellcat in bumper-to-bumper Houston traffic in red-key mode. I have driven the Hellcat in the pouring rain in red-key mode. I have driven the Hellcat to the mall, to the grocery store, to the movies, and to Killen's Steakhouse in Pearland for a 100% Japanese Wagyu steak from the Kagoshima Prefecture. (It was a birthday present from my son. My money goes into the gas tank of my Hellcat.) Just for fun, I used the SRT Pages to put the car in valet mode. For those of you who do not know, valet mode limits the horsepower to: oh, hell! Who cares? The car felt like the parking brake had not been disengaged. I have heard rumors that the Tremec six-speed transmission has a 1-4 skip-shift feature. My Hellcat has never been subjected to this travesty.Questions, questions, and more questions Q: How much over sticker did you have to pay? A: Zero Q: What kind of gas mileage do you get? A: ROTFL Q: How did you ever talk your significant other into letting you buy the Hellcat? A: I didn't ask.
