Up for bid is my hard to find 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4 with the very sought after 5.9L diesel engine. This truck is loaded with all options including Navigation, Heated Leather seats, Power driver seat, AM/FM/CD premium sound system, Power rear sliding window, bed liner, automatic heated mirrors, tow package, 18" premium MB Motorsports chrome wheels, 35" Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires. chrome running boards and much more.
The truck has a 91,100 miles on it and runs perfect. The interior is in near perfect condition and looks great. The outside is very sharp but does have some scratches and a few dents that I tried to show in the photos. A car backed into me the other day and put a dent in the left side of rear bumper and left lower quarter panel. There is also a dent and scratch above the top bed railing where my motorcycle fell over and hit the top of the bed. Even though it has some dents and scratches it still looks very sharp and could be repaired for pretty cheap if wanted it in perfect condition. Since it's a diesel truck it doesn't bother me at all, I just want to try and describe as accurately as I can.

How fracking is causing Chrysler minivans to sit on Detroit's riverfront
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It's fascinating the way that one change to a complex system can have all sorts of unintended consequences. For instance, there are hundreds of new Chrysler Town and County and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans built in Windsor, Ontario, sitting in lots on the Detroit waterfront because of the energy boom in the Bakken oil field in the northern US and parts of Canada.
The huge amount of crude oil coming from these sites mostly use freight trains for transport, and that supply boom has resulted in a shortage of railcars to carry other goods. According to The Windsor Star, North American crude oil transport by train has gone from 9,500 carloads in 2008 to 434,032 carloads in 2013. Making matters worse, some North American rail infrastructure is still damaged because of this year's harsh winter, and that's slowing things down even further.
Chrysler admits to The Star that it has had some delivery delays due to the freight train shortage. In the meantime, it's using more trucks to deliver its vehicles. Trucking is a far less economical solution, partially because a train can carry so many more units at one time, but alternatives are slim. The Windsor plant alone has a deal for 33 trucks to distribute the minivans around Canada and the Midwestern US.

Dodge Viper to out-Hell the Hellcat with supercharged V10?
Wed, 20 Aug 2014The Viper wouldn't be the Viper if it wasn't the most powerful model under the Chrysler umbrella. But with the arrival of the Hellcat engine in the Dodge Charger and Challenger, the Viper has fallen behind in the bragging rights department: where the new supercharged V8 produces 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated V10 offers "only" 640 hp and 600 lb-ft - gargantuan output figures by almost any other standard, but crucially behind on the SRT power scale. Conner Avenue is going to have to do something about that.
Although the Hellcat's engine reportedly won't fit under the Viper's hood, SRT is now rumored to have another trick up its sleeve: supercharge the existing V10. According to the Pentastar performance enthusiasts at allpar.com, Chrysler has already taken delivery of the first such prototype engines so that it can begin the process of fitting it into an upgraded Viper.
The spooled ten-pot is tipped to produce around 800 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. More than that and the Viper's drivetrain, chassis and bodywork would have to be substantially reworked. Though beefier transmissions are available, fitting them would reportedly set off a domino-game of changes required to handle the added torque. Which may be something Chrysler would be prepared to do for the next-generation model, but in the meantime, 800 hp could prove enough to put the Viper back atop the Mopar performance ladder where it belongs, and give it an edge against the new Corvette Z06 to rekindle sales.
