5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel. 24 valve power. More power and reliability than Ford Powerstroke or Chevrolet Duramax. This has an air filter, and straight pipe. No injectors or chip. The durability items (Lift pump, Transmission), have been addressed, and this truck is some injectors and a programmer away from making bigger power.

Here are the modifications
Sport front bumper and grille conversion. No tow hooks
Anzo smoke head lights (100.00)
2 new batteries (under a year old), Advance Gold (225.00)
New power steering pump (installing 2/13/14) (65.00)
I have a Tuff Country track bar bracket that is not yet installed (30.00)
K&N large open air filter on stock tube. (65.00)
2.5 inch leveling kit (75.00)
Bilstein shocks, front (150.00)
FASS lift pump in stock lift pump location (300.00)
Smoked cab lights (100.00)
Front differential fluid changed, synthetic (Open differential) D60 (35.00)
Transmission: Rebuild history unknown, I had Trans-Go valve body / HD flex late / billet single disc converter, fluid and filter change, by transmission shop. ($1,125.00!!)
Transfer case, fluid changed, synthetic (35.00)
Straight pipe with 5" black exhaust tip
B&W gooseneck ball in bed (prior installed, 400+)
Spray bedliner, brand unknown.
Rear differential fluid change, synthetic (Open differential) D70 (35.00)
Anzo smoke tail lights, not LED. (100.00)
Truxedo Lo Pro tonneau cover (400.00)
Fender Flares (300.00)
Ultra Crusher wheels with 315/75/16 Hankook ATM (35" tall) tires. Less than 1 year old. (1500.00)

AM/FM/Cassette. Cloth interior. PW / PL / AC. Overall body is very good, but it is not PERFECT. It has some bumps, etc. The lower rocker panels have body color bed liner material on them. I can see that it has had some body work in the past, but it looks good overall. There is filler above the rear tire on passenger side.   It had flares on it that did a pretty decent job of hiding it.

Not perfect items: Dash cracked and dash bezel cracked, Driver seat was torn, stitched up nicely by the wife, looks good. Driver door material has some wear, but is not trashed. I have the fog lights, they are not installed. I have both side brackets for the front bumper, one is cracked. These are available from LMC truck.

Dodge, Jeep and Ram could soon be owned by Chinese automakers

Mon, Aug 14 2017

For the past several years, Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has made it widely known that the automaker he helms is up for grabs. First, he sent an email to GM CEO Mary Barra, who immediately refused to even discuss a merger. Later, Marchionne set his sights on Volkswagen. That too was swiftly rebuffed. It seemed like no global automaker was remotely interested in a partnership. Now, Automotive News reports that several Chinese automakers have come calling, only FCA isn't ready to answer. At least not yet. The news broke this morning that a major Chinese automaker had made an offer to purchase FCA for slightly above market value. FCA refused, saying the offer wasn't quite generous enough. It's unclear which automaker made the offer, but Automotive News says there's more than one interested party. FCA representatives have recently traveled to China to meet with Great Wall Motors, while Chinese representatives were seen at FCA corporate headquarters in Auburn Hills, Mich. The Chinese government has a lot of money invested in local automakers. It's putting pressure on these automakers to expand globally, including to the United States. As it stands, it's a matter of when a Chinese automaker will start selling cars here, not if. Purchasing an established automaker with a wide range of products and a huge dealer network would do wonders in giving the Chinese a foothold here. Sure, Geely owns Volvo, but a luxury automaker doesn't have nearly as much reach as a more mainstream company like FCA. This seems like the best case scenario for both a Chinese automaker looking to move into the U.S. and for FCA, at least from a business standpoint. The latter doesn't seem to have any other interested parties. It will be interesting to see how FCA would sell a deal like this to the public. We're not sure everyone will be happy with Dodge, Jeep and Ram falling under Chinese ownership. FCA didn't turn down the Chinese because they didn't like the idea. It turned down the offer because there wasn't enough money on the table. Related Video: News Source: Automotive News Earnings/Financials Alfa Romeo Chrysler Dodge Fiat Jeep RAM

2013 Dart GT will hold us over until SRT stokes Dodge's handsome compact

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

No, this isn't quite the Dart SRT4 we've been waiting for - and still believe is coming - but as part of its 2013 Detroit Auto Show lineup, Dodge will be showing off the slightly sportier Dart GT seen here.
Building on the already well-equipped Limited model, the GT adds performance enhancements including a more powerful engine, 18-inch aluminum wheels, sport suspension calibration, unique front fascia and dual exhaust. Inside, you'll find perforated Nappa leather seats, a heated steering wheel and front seats, dual-zone climate control, remote start (if you spec the automatic transmission), Chrysler's 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, a seven-inch TFT display in the gauge cluster, and a whole lot more. Optional goodies include hyper black aluminum wheels, a technology group (pushbutton start, keyless go, rain-sensing wipers, blind spot monitoring and smart-beam headlamps), power sunroof, Sirius radio, Garmin navigation, Alpine premium sound and high-intensity discharge headlamps.
Powering the Dart GT is Chrysler's 2.4-liter MultiAir2 four-cylinder engine producing 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. That grunt is sent to the front wheels via a standard six-speed manual transmission, but a six-speed automatic 'box is optional.

Are you the Dodge Dart SRT4?

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

Dodge has just confirmed that it will be bringing its newest Dart variant, the Dart GT, to Detroit next week, but we're still in the dark about when we'll see a truly hotted-up SRT4 version. But now, by way of the rumormill anyway, we've got at least one proposed, potentially Dodge-based rendering to light our way.
Seen here is what would appear to be a design sketch of the SRT4 Dart. Obviously the image that has surfaced is of rather low-resolution, but there's at least some evidence to support that it may be legitimate. In the original picture, one can just make out the name Tim Doyle in the lower right corner. As it turns out, Tim Doyle's name is also watermarked on the final design image for the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel Black & Tan, a model that was shown at SEMA in 2010.
Of course, even if this really is the work of Doyle, there's nothing to say that this image isn't one of a great many potential looks for the future SRT4. In fact, the departure of the cross-hair grille from the Dodge's nose seems like it could be a hard sell, though we do, naturally, dig the sleek hood scoop and the bulked up wheel/tire combination.
