I have a very rare, pristine condition, low mileage example of a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 for sale. I am only the second owner of this pristine truck. I came across the truck in Tennessee, purchased it, and had it shipped to my home here in North Carolina. It has never been in any type of accident, or had any paintwork, rust or damage. It is completely stock and original. The truck is one of the lowest mileage '02 Rams for sale in the country, and arguably in the best condition. It has been a rarely driven and is a 3rd vehicle for us. Those of you that know about these trucks know that they are the last of the simple, heavy duty, Diesels. They are known for their reliability and longevity--built to last well over 500k+ miles. It routinely gets 18-19mpg, and tracks straight as an arrow. This is truly a turn key truck, that can be driven anywhere--and with its mileage, it's nearly 1/3 the price of a new truck. The non-smoking interior is immaculate and as new. No cracked dash like many older Rams out there. I have listed most of the options as well as a photo link below. I have the original books as well as the factory window sticker. I am very reluctantly having to part ways with my truck to help pay for some recent, unexpected, very expensive home repairs. You will be hard pressed to find a lower mileage as new '02 Ram for sale anywhere on the market today. Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Motorweek's decades of history on television make it the perfect medium to look back into the automotive past and see how things are different now. It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.

Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
