Vancouver, Washington, United States

The only thing about this truck that is not in it is no heated seats and no passenger power seat!

Everything works real good and had 3 careful owners

I have replaced the front ball joints and track bar and have done an alignment and drives really good.

Brakes are 65-70 %

Radiator has been flushed and burped and new antifreeze put in.

New serpentine belt and new gaskets put on the top half of the engine as part of maintenance.

Uses mobile one  SYN oil and just changed 300 miles ago. and the engine is quiet and no funny noises lifter noises.

Air conditioner needs a charge to be colder and heater works as it should.

Cruise works perfect and rides good on the new correct 265  R-17 Iron-man AP tires with 78 pounds of air in each one.

Radio and CD work perfect!

Power driver seat has 8 functions and the up and down sticks sometime or not work correctly everything else works as it should.

Look at the beautiful interior as it looks like new leather and the carpet is like new as well and the floor mats good.

10,000 pound hitch with 1,000 tongue weight.

The ash tray never has been used, non smokers in its life.

Wipers will need to be changed soon as they are ok

This has a 6 in lift and extra springs that feel like steroids took hold of the truck.

Dash is perfect and everything works as it should.

Last owner put in a new transmission and spent $2800 on it and had it beefed up and I did not get the receipt on it. Bright red fluid in the transmission with no burn or varnish and yes believe that was done.

New water pump and spark plugs NKG's the expensive ones.  New air filter.

All lights work good.

The front has a lot of add ones that can be seen in the picture.

Look at the pictures and know this is way above average for this truck and it works rock solid too!

I have a lot of receipts that will go with the truck on things I have done.

All sales will be final and as is.

Deposit will be $500.00 by Pay Pal and non-refundable.

U ship is the one you should use but others are good.

I will leave a 5 stars for you and hope you will do the same.

All questions answered so please use that option as well.

So many more nice things about this truck like spray in liner and pop up things on the rail.

Sliding rear window.

The truck is not perfect just nicely taken care of. Yes it will pull a 40' trailer and if you want it can plow a pile of snow if you want that.

All bidders under 4 stars contact first please before bidding...

Now here is what needs to be done: Right front backing dust cover plate is making noise and needs an adjustment as it is rubbing a little on the rotor.

Had an ABS sensor put on and sometimes the ABS light comes on above 60 mph...have no clue as to why.

Thank you and happy bidding!!!

(This is a short box truck)

Diesel Power finds the ultimate modified oil-burner

Sat, 24 Aug 2013

For nine years, Diesel Power magazine has run the Diesel Power Challenge, this year's grindfest being "a week-long torture test that features seven events, nine trucks, 8,000 horsepower, and nearly 15,000 pound-feet of torque." The road to being crowned "the most powerful truck" starts with a dyno run, and then continues through the completion of a CDL-style obstacle course, an eighth-of-a-mile drag race while towing a 10,000-pound trailer, a quarter-mile drag race without a trailer, a fuel economy test in the mountains and finally a sled-pulling test through a 300-foot-long packed-mud pit.
What kind of trucks get into such a fight? Last year's winner, for instance - who upgraded his truck this year to prove he didn't "luck into the win" - drives a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6.4-liter Power Stroke V8 upgraded with a custom intake, Elite Diesel triple turbos and a two-stage nitrous system. Another competitor has a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins inline-six, upgraded with Garrett turbos, dual-stage nitrous, a seven-inch exhaust stack and twin fans built into the bed to cool the Sun Coast Omega transmission. The numbers on that truck: 1,255 horsepower, and 2,063 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. Naturally, as the image above might suggest, things don't always end well.
You'll find all five videos covering this years challenge below. A scene in the dyno video sums it all up perfectly: a competitor leaves his nitrous on too long and the crew is treated to some ominous poppings, he leans out the window, throws both hands up and shouts, "Amer'ca!"

Performance doesn't matter anymore, it's all about the feel

Wed, Aug 24 2022

We've just had a week of supercars and high-end EVs revealed. Many of them boast outrageous performance specs. There were multiple vehicles with horsepower in the four-figure range, and not just sports cars, but SUVs with 0-60 mph times under 3.5 seconds. And it's not just a rarified set of supercar builders, comparatively small tuners are also building this stuff. Going fast is easy nowadays and getting easier. So what will distinguish the greats from the wannabes? It's all about how a car feels. This may seem obvious. "Of course it matters that a car should have good steering feel and a playful chassis!" you say. "Why are you being paid for this stuff?" But a lot of automakers have missed the memo. This past week I spent some time in a BMW M4 Competition convertible, and it's a perfect example of prioritizing performance over experience. It boggles my mind how a company can create such dead and disconnected steering; the weight never changes, there's no feel whatsoever. The chassis is inflappable, but to a fault, because it doesn't feel like anything you're doing is difficult or exciting. The car is astoundingly fast and capable, but it feels less like driving a car and more like tapping in a heading on the Enterprise-D. I also happened to drive something of comparable performance that was much more enjoyable: a Mercedes-AMG GT. It was a basic model with the Stealth Edition blackout package, and even though it had a twin-turbo V8 instead of a six-cylinder, it only made 20 more horsepower. The power wasn't the big differentiator, it was (say it with me) the feel. While not the best example, the steering builds resistance as you dial in lock, giving you a better idea of what's happening up front. Pulses and vibrations come back to you as you move over bumpy pavement in corners. The chassis isn't quite as buttoned down, either, providing a little bit of body roll that tells you you're pushing it. It's also easier to feel when the car is wanting to understeer or oversteer, and how your throttle and steering inputs are affecting it. The whole thing is much more involving, exciting and fun. 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Stealth Edition View 8 Photos That's also to say nothing of the Merc's sounds. That V8 is maybe not the best sounding engine, but its urgent churn through the opened-up exhaust gets your heart racing. It also seems like it's vibrating the whole cabin, so you feel it as much as you hear it.

Dodge recalling 2k SRT Hellcat Challengers and Chargers for fuel leak

Tue, Mar 3 2015

Bad news for fans of the obscene output of the Dodge Hellcat twins, as FCA has announced a voluntary recall of both 707-horsepower variants of the 2015-model-year Charger sedan and Challenger coupe. According to FCA, a total of 2,211 cars are being recalled after a dealer discovered a "possible fuel leak" during a pre-delivery inspection. Despite getting cleared by suppliers, FCA claims its engineers found "improperly installed" hose seals. Owners of affected vehicles will receive notification and be asked to report in for repairs. Of the vehicles affected, the overwhelming majority, 2,012, were sold in the US market. The remainder were sold in Canada (148), Mexico (30) and just 21 outside of North America. Scroll down for the official release from FCA. An FCA US dealer alerted the Company to a possible fuel leak following a pre-delivery vehicle inspection. These components had passed the supplier's leak-testing, but FCA US engineers launched an investigation and discovered certain hose seals may have been improperly installed. The Company is unaware of any related injuries, accidents or customer complaints. Affected are model-year 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT coupes and Dodge Charger SRT sedans equipped with 6.2-liter V-8 engines. There are an estimated 2,012 in the U.S.; 148 in Canada; 30 in Mexico and 21 outside the NAFTA region. Affected customers will be notified and advised when they may schedule service.
