1998 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT, 4x4, 12 valve Cummins Diesel, rebuilt Automatic transmission, 4 door quad cab, 8' bed, cap, 6" suspension lift, 37" Goodyear Military tires, 5" exhaust, 100hp injectors, fuel is turned up a little, Nice body with original paint and very little rust under doors. The interior looks almost new with no rips or tears. It has power windows, locks and mirrors. It has a gauge pillar with transmission temperature, boost and exhaust gas temperature gauges that work well. The truck has a front air locker with on board air compressor. The truck has 4.10 gears. The engine runs perfect and starts great when cold. It has some performance work done to it. The truck has a lot of power. The transmission was rebuilt less than 30k miles ago according to previous owner. It shifts and works great! The truck has 1 mismatched wheel with a smaller spare tire on it in pictures. I have 1 other 37" military tire and 4 matching wheels to come with. All the military tires are 75% tread or better. There are some light scratches an chips that should be expected for the age.
I bought this truck to pull my 5th wheel trailer, but it is lifted too high. So, Im selling it here on ebay with no reserve. High bidder will own it. It has a new adjustable track bar and the frame/steering box stiffener on it. There is alloy rear diff cover and trans pan on it. I drove this truck a few times around town and it runs good. The alignment is way off and 2 tie rods have some play in them. The ball joints are good and tight. I would recommend towing home because of loose front end and alignment. I could have the work done at a local shop so you can drive it home if you want. Also, it comes with a NY MV-907A Salvage Certificate and a notarized bill of sale. You will need to check your own state to see the requirements to get a title for it. Again, truck comes with a salvage title. I can help with local shipping up to 500 miles from my zip code 17074. If you have any questions or need more pictures, let me know. Call or text 717-275-5074 for fastest response or email.
On Feb-12-13 at 20:34:58 PST, seller added the following information:

Also, The lift kit brand is Superlift and its the long arm kit.. It has adjustable upper and lower control arms and adjustable track bar.

Stellantis wants to outfit cars with AI software to drive revenue
Tue, Dec 7 2021MILAN — Carmaker Stellantis announced a strategy Tuesday to embed AI-enabled software in 34 million vehicles across its 14 brands, hoping the tech upgrade will help it bring in 20 billion euros ($22.6 billion) in annual revenue by 2030. CEO Carlos Tavares heralded the move as part of a strategy that would transform the car company into a “sustainable mobility tech company,” with business growth coming from features and services tied to the internet. That includes using voice commands to activate navigation, make payments and order products online. The company is expanding existing partnerships with BMW on partially automated driving, iPhone manufacturer Foxconn on customized cockpits and Waymo to push their autonomous driving work into light commercial vehicle delivery fleets. StellantisÂ’ embrace of artificial intelligence and expansion of software-enabled vehicles is part of a broad transformation in the auto industry, with a race toward more fully electric and hybrid propulsion systems, more autonomous driving features and increased connectivity in automobiles. Ford and General Motors also are banking on dramatically increased revenue from similar online subscription services. But the automakers face immense competition for monthly consumer spending from movie and music streaming services, news outlets, Amazon Prime and others. Stellantis, which was formed from the combination of PSA Peugeot and FCA Fiat Chrysler, said the software would seamlessly integrate into customers' lives, with the capability of live updates providing upgraded services over time. New products will include the possibility to subscribe to automated driving features, purchase usage-based car insurance or even increase the power of the vehicle with a tune-up to add horsepower. As a baseline, Stellantis generates 400 million euros in revenue on software-generated services installed in 12 million vehicles. To meet the targets, Stellantis will expand its software engineering team of 1,000 to 4,500 in North America, Asia and Europe. More than 1,000 of the expanded team will be retrained in house. Stellantis also announced a new partnership with Foxconn to develop semiconductors to cover 80% of the companyÂ’s needs and simplify the supply chain. The first microchips from the partnership are targeted to be installed in vehicles in 2024.
Star Wars Episode VII ad is a force for Dodge
Fri, Dec 18 2015Happy Star Wars day! Some of you might be bleary eyed and begging for coffee after attending midnight screenings of Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens last night (*raises hand*) but the show must go on. And for Dodge, that show has been all about Star Wars. While the entirety of FCA joined the tie-in marketing campaign for the long-awaited JJ Abrams blockbuster, Dodge made out the best. According to Wards Auto, the brand's The Force Gathers spot took the top spot in this week's most engaging automotive ads, capturing nearly a quarter of share-of-voice ratings and garnering over a quarter-of-a-million earned online views. Since the ad began airing earlier this month, it's scored over 430,000 views on YouTube alone. The relatively simple ad evokes Darth Vader and his legions of storm troopers. In the 30-second spot, a black Viper leads six long columns of white Chargers, Challengers, and Durangos while John Williams' iconic Imperial March blares in the background. It ends at the stand of an overwhelmed pair of valets outside a screening for Episode VII. We've embedded the spot at the top of the page if you haven't seen it. Check it out, and may the Force be with you. Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens is in theaters today. Related Video:
Junkyard 1983 Dodge Rampage has Franco-American roots
Mon, Jun 20 2016Lee Iacocca and the K-Cars get most of the credit for saving Chrysler after the company's 1979 bailout by the US government, but the success of the Simca-derived Omnirizon platform was a large, if overlooked, component of Chrysler's early-1980s resurgence. The Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon were sold in the United States for the 1978 through 1990 model years, and variants included the 1983-1987 Dodge Charger and the Rampage, this well-worn example of which I spotted in a Denver self-service wrecking yard last week. The early Omnirizons came with a Volkswagen-sourced 1.7-liter engine, but all of the Rampage pickups (and their near-identical Plymouth Scamp siblings) came from the factory with a 2.2-liter K-Car engine making 96 horses. This truck has a 4-speed manual transmission, which would have made it reasonably quick by Malaise Era standards. This one had plenty of body filler and rust, even before the crash that sent it on that final tow-truck ride to this place, so it wouldn't have been worth restoring. Still, we can hope that some of its parts will live on in other L-body trucks.
