1996 Dodge Ram 2500 215hp P7100 Pump 12valve Diesel Ext Cab 4x4 5 Speed Manual on 2040-cars
Spring Valley, California, United States

I have an unmolested, fully stock, 12 valve. A virgin 215 hp P-7100 Injection pump. Everything in this truck works like it should. 4x4, A/C, heater, locks, windows, etc.
5 speed manual transmission( NV4500), 3.54 gears, manual transfer case. Brand new clutch installed 10.1.13. No leaks, No blow by, just one super solid used truck. This is the real deal in mechanical diesels. Steers down the road straight as an arrow, with no funny noises. No electronics to mess with. Transmission works great. This was a 1 owner truck. I have a Clean CA title on hand and yes its under my name. This truck has the common fading paint that all dodge trucks had back in the 90's. A few dings, but nothing major. The dash is in perfect shape as no crack on it. The truck has 346,ooo miles. But Don't let that fool you. This is 12 valve cummins and they go an easy 1,ooo,ooo miles with care. Google it if you don't believe me. OH, and a 5 speed manual, Very sought after truck. . Please
do remember that it is used and has some wear and tear (very minimal). Feel
free to call me at 619 980 2619. If you choose to fly in and drive it home I
would be more than happy to pick you up at the airport. Miles may vary
slightly since it is my daily driver. If you have any questions or would like
more pictures please feel free to call me at 619 980 2619.Thank you. One final note: Due to the
interest this truck will have on Ebay, I do not have a “buy it now” price. I strive to have the best possible
Ebay listings, much effort is spent listing this vehicle. As a courtesy to
this seller and all prospective bidders, please only bid if you are 100%
certain that you can follow through with the purchase. To protect
the integrity of this auction, if you have less than 5+ positive feedback,
please do not bid, as the bid will be cancelled. We will make exceptions to
the 5+ positive feedback policy if you are willing to leave a deposit prior to
bidding- $500 (the deposit will be refunded immediately if you are not the
highest bidder when the auction ends). I reserve the right to cancel bids which
we deem as suspicious.
Sincere thanks.
This is a NO RESERVE auction and the
high bidder takes the truck home. Truck is located in San Diego, CA. 91977. |

Are you the Dodge Dart SRT4?
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Dodge has just confirmed that it will be bringing its newest Dart variant, the Dart GT, to Detroit next week, but we're still in the dark about when we'll see a truly hotted-up SRT4 version. But now, by way of the rumormill anyway, we've got at least one proposed, potentially Dodge-based rendering to light our way.
Seen here is what would appear to be a design sketch of the SRT4 Dart. Obviously the image that has surfaced is of rather low-resolution, but there's at least some evidence to support that it may be legitimate. In the original picture, one can just make out the name Tim Doyle in the lower right corner. As it turns out, Tim Doyle's name is also watermarked on the final design image for the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel Black & Tan, a model that was shown at SEMA in 2010.
Of course, even if this really is the work of Doyle, there's nothing to say that this image isn't one of a great many potential looks for the future SRT4. In fact, the departure of the cross-hair grille from the Dodge's nose seems like it could be a hard sell, though we do, naturally, dig the sleek hood scoop and the bulked up wheel/tire combination.
NHTSA closes investigation on 4.7M FCA power modules, no recall
Thu, Jul 30 2015FCA US hasn't had the best time with recalls as of late. Not only did the company recently agree to greater safety oversight and paid $105 million to the government, that came just days after hacking fears prompted a 1.4-million model recall campaign. However, a recent decision to close an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration means that the automaker doesn't have to worry about another major recall possibly affecting 4.7 million vehicles, according to the agency's report (as a PDF). Last September, the Center for Auto Safety petitioned NHTSA to investigate an alleged problem with the totally integrated power module (TIPM) on these FCA US models. The group claimed that a fault with the component could cause a variety of maladies, including stalls, not starting, catching fire, unintended acceleration, and airbag non-deployment. At the time, it also submitted 70 cases where this had reportedly happened. According to NHTSA, "no valid evidence was presented in support of claims related to airbag non-deployment, unintended acceleration, or fire resulting from TIPM faults and these claims were found to be wholly without merit based on review of the field data and design of the relevant systems and components." The agency did find signs of an issue with the fuel pump relay in some Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos, but FCA US issued recalls for the problem in September 2014 and February 2015. Without anything else to go on, the Feds don't think it's worth investigating this topic any more.
Driving the 2019 Dodge Durango Pursuit | Bells and whistles, lights and sirens
Tue, Jul 24 2018Recently, we went to the FCA proving grounds in Chelsea, Mich., to test out the company's 2019 model-year lineup. There are a lot of cars to choose from, and only a limited time to drive them, so since we couldn't drive the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye (that drive is coming soon, though) naturally we gravitated to the flashiest, noisiest one: the 2019 Dodge Durango Pursuit police vehicle. This is the first time the Durango is being offered as a cop car, and there are a number of features that make it fit for service. All Durango Pursuit models feature all-wheel drive, and it's available with two different engines. The standard motor is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, providing 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The tester we got to drive, though, was equipped with the 5.7-liter hemi V8, good for 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. It also has a load-leveling performance suspension, which really helped out when we tossed it around the handling course. It has 8.1 inches of ground clearance, which means it can get to scenes off the beaten path. As much as we loved driving it, we had the most fun just playing with the lights and sirens of the Durango Pursuit. Standing outside the vehicle, the sirens and horn are incredibly loud, enough to make bystanders jump in fright. Dodge did a good job with the sound deadening, though, and the sustained wail wasn't bothersome when chasing imaginary suspects around the test track. One feature we didn't get to test out, but important to police duty, was the special Uconnect system in the Durango Pursuit. More than just an infotainment system, the seven-inch display is equipped to integrate various law enforcement systems. Another cool detail about the car, its tri-zone climate system is ideal for K9 units, with the ability to set separate HVAC settings for the dogs in the back of the car. Check out the video above, and stay tuned for more videos to come from our time spent at FCA's Chelsea proving grounds.
