1995 Dodge 2500, Cummins diesel, low miles.
This unit came from the US Air Force in Holloman Germany, it was used to pull large airplane up to 70,000lbs across the tarmac and in and out of hangars. The cab has not dents or rust, all body parts and accessories from the military are on the vehicle still. Vehicle ran great when it was parked but needs batteries and a starter relay as they have grown legs and walked off. There are no frills to this truck, no A/C, no radio, no overdrive for the transmission, manual everything except for brakes. The entire truck only has 21,266 original miles on it and are correct. It as well has an almost brand new set of 16 inch uniroyal tires front and back. Truck has a flatbed made out of 3/8 or better steel as well as large thick plates of steel welded underneath for traction. Truck is rather heavy having a dry weight of 8800lbs. The fuel tank and small tool box that are currently bolted to the bed will not go with the truck. Everything worked when parked, the military has to make sure that everything works on the vehicle if they are going to sell it for a vehicle, as well, the military has to keep meticulous repair records of anything that happened with the truck, I have all the records in German and English. The truck has a dana rear differential, either a 60 or a 70 and a 7:1 gear ration. That means the truck without a overdrive will move at approximately 20ish miles per hour, not fast but will probably pull a freight train if you could make it stick. Truck has a good title. 6000.00 is what I have in the truck, I was going to use it for a conversion as it has absolutely everything a person would need to put the engine in something else or, if you had a blown engine in yours you would have a good engine and a clean turbo and intercooler that you would not have to worry about. This engine also has the P7100 injection pump that is supposed to be the best one on the market for the mechanical engines. This truck is for sale locally so auction can end at anytime. Payment is to be made through paypal as is protects us both and as well needs to be made at the end of the auction. Any questions you may have just call and ask for Kelly at 575-418-0857. Thanks.

Hennessey's Dodge Challenger Hellcat cranks out 1,032 hp
Mon, Feb 22 2016Enthusiasts know the Dodge Challenger Hellcat produces 707 horsepower. It's one of the modern muscle-car era's iconic numbers. But for some, that's not enough. Enter Hennessey Performance. The Texas tuners loaded the Hellcat with a twin-turbocharger that works with Dodge's supercharger to boost output to 1,032 hp and 987 pound-feet of torque. Yes, that's an engine dyno rating, not at the rear wheels, but still! It's a little more complicated than a bolt-on booster. Called the HPE1000, the turbo kit has stainless steel headers and down pipes, billet aluminum compressor wheels, and a high-flow air system. There's also an an improved fuel pump, and the engine and chassis are specially calibrated. You also get numbered plaques signed by John Hennessey himself and the engine tech who builds your mill. All of this helps get your Hellcat to 60 miles per hour in 2.7 seconds, and it can do the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds at 142 mph. The Hellcat and it's 6.2-liter blown Hemi V8 are not for the faint of heart. Hennessey makes this Dodge downright demonic. Dodge Dart pushed toward the grave with simplified lineup
Tue, Apr 12 2016FCA announced a while back that the Dodge Dart and its Chrysler 200 half-sibling are on the way out due to lack of interest. The 2016 model year will be the Dart's last, and Dodge has just reconfigured the lineup mid-year to lower (relative) pricing and streamline ordering. Streamlined is a nice way of saying there will be fewer choices, with three models (down from five) and limited customization beyond choosing the paint color. The odd thing is that the Dart continues to offer three different engines. And while the prices of the individual models have decreased, the former SE base trim is now gone. That means an early-2016 Dart was available for as little as $17,990, while the late-2016 Dart starts at $18,990. For that sum you get the new base model, the SXT Sport, which replaces the SXT and comes with the 2.0-liter Tigershark four-cylinder (160 horsepower, 148 lb-ft of torque) and a six-speed manual; a six-speed automatic is an available option. Standard equipment includes normal entry-level car stuff, black cloth upholstery, 16-inch wheels, and grille shutters that help improve fuel economy. The SXT Sport can be dressed up with one of three different appearance packages; Chrome adds bright accents to parts including the grille and door handles, Rallye has a black grille and a touring suspension, and the Blacktop package makes pretty much everything on the exterior black and includes a sport-tuned suspension. All three packages come with bigger wheels, too. From there it's on to the new Dart Turbo, for $20,490. It comes with the 1.4-liter turbo four (160 hp, 184 lb-ft of torque) and comes exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. This is supposed to be the model for enthusiasts, which is how Dodge is selling the switch to manual-only. Ditching the disliked dual-clutch automatic that was previously offered with this engine doesn't hurt. This engine was also used in the former Aero model, as it's the most fuel-efficient in the lineup. The Turbo gets the Rallye appearance stuff and a different hood. At the top is the Dart GT Sport, starting at $21,900. It has the 184-hp, 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder and a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmission. This is the one with features, including a power driver's seat, the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment unit, digital reconfigurable gauges, dual-zone auto climate, keyless start, and a rearview camera. The latter-part-of-2016 Dart will be available in eight colors.
2015 Ford Mustang vs. Camaro and Challenger [w/poll]
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The horsepower wars are tightening among the Detroit Three, as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are getting bigger, more powerful, and yes, more fuel efficient.
That came into sharper focus this week as more information was revealed about the most insane Challenger ever - the 707-horsepower Hellcat - followed quickly by Ford's in-depth showcase of the 2015 Mustang in Dearborn.
It's shaping up to be a golden age for enthusiasts, and what's under the hood is becoming more important than ever.
