Hello diesel family and friends, my name is Tom my wife and I have been licensed PA new and used Truck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality. We have recently downsized to a small mom and pop operation here in carlisle PA (E-Motors) to sell 2 or 3 trucks a month, we are small and I do this more for a hobby than anything else.(low overhead low prices) I know these Cummins diesel trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast to folks who have never seen a no rust old 24 valve. Trust me they are not cheep, but worth the extra if you can swing it. A few things to know before bidding or becomming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers, no lowballers please its just a total waste of time, do the homework and reasrech what these 6 speeds sell for you'll see my price is right on, then come up I'll make it sweeter! I do not take trades on my diesels unless you bring up the trade for an apprasial or no trade , but I also do airport pickup at Harrisburg International, I am a bonded tag agent and issue temp tags/title transfer on the spot at my office, I also do long or short deliverys and have on call hours 7 days a week from 9-9 east time. 717 991 0568 I reserve the right to close down ebay for any cash buyer with deposit online on phone or on lot, I deal first come first served with deposit, I'm avaiable 7 days a week for info or looks in person truck is on display at lot for all to inspect prior to buying,,,, E Motors 1649 Trindle Rd Carlisle Pa or just call for appointment, thanks Tom 717 991 0568 My promise is to deal on a "do unto others as I'd want done to me" basis. I will represent all vehicles professionally, and deal up front and honestly, treat all customers or callers with the utmost respect and courtesy, using my abilitys, experence and talents to help all buyers get the best truck and deal possible wheather its from me of another seller, rule number 1 is to be a blessing and the blessings to me will follow eventually, my only request is you deal with me in a similar fashion, thanks folks looking fordward to meeting you...Tom 717 991 0568 How about a southern rust free 01 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad longbed SLT larimie 4x4 with low miles? Beauiful rust free body, glossey paint and clear coats, no scrapes or major dents, nice straight bumpers, no accedents only 136000 origional car fax certified miles!!! Mechanically awesome, the 5.9 fires right up, good strong fuel pumps, no smoke or blow by. I just installed a brand new clutch disc and set, new brakes, ty rods, and alignments. Also I just put 4 brand new cooper 265x75x16 E rated grippy tires, new filters, fluids, and pa state insp she is ready to work....Shifts wonderful, at 75 she is straight as an arrow, all gauges working no issues to deal with I took care of everything. Inside no stains or smells, no rips or tears, good dash, seats and carpet. All power equip working perfectly. Great running fun driving truck, my personal driver all winter, want to be impressed buy this one...and its priced to sell quick... Please folks keep in mind this is a 12 year old pickup truck although better than most 01's it is still a used truck and has some normal wear and tear to be expected, general interior wear, outside has some minor parking lot dings on sides (real minor) and stone chips stuff like that, but overall a really nice clean great running cummins in my opinion, I enjoyed every mile I put on it!!! Thanks for your time reading my ad and being interested in the greatest diesels ever made...in my opinion...Cummins! 34 years experence... Tom 717 991 0568

Legacy Classic Power Wagon First Drive
Wed, Oct 7 2015Shortly before the US entered World War II, Dodge supplied the military with a line of pickups internally codenamed WC, those letters designating the year 1941 and the half-ton payload rating. From 1941 to 1945 Dodge built more than a quarter million of them, and even though "WC" came to refer to the Weapons Carrier body style, the WC range served in 38 different configurations from pickup trucks to ambulances to six-wheeled personnel and weapons haulers. The story is that soldiers returning from active duty badgered Dodge for a civilian version of that indefatigable warhorse, so Dodge responded with the Power Wagon in 1946. Even for those no-nonsense times the truck was so austere that the first three names Dodge gave it were "Farm Utility Truck," "WDX General Purpose Truck," and "General Purpose, One Ton Truck." "Power Wagon" was the fourth choice, not finalized until just before it went on sale. Nothing like today's Power Wagon, the original could be seen as either a glorified tractor or a slightly less uncouth military vehicle – hell-for-leather meant going 50 miles per hour. But it would go nearly anywhere. The civilian version was still built like it had to survive, well, a world war; power take-offs (PTOs) ran all manner of ancillaries; multiplicative gear ratios helped it produce enough torque to make an earthquake envious. Said to be the first civilian 4x4 truck made in America, any organization that needed a simple, sturdy mechanized draught animal knew it needed a Power Wagon. If that history, the aura of war, and the ruthless functionality attract you but the mean comforts and 70-year-old manners don't, then you need to get in touch with Legacy Classic Trucks. The Jackson Hole, WY, restorer retains every ounce of the Power Wagon's orchard-work aptitude, decorated with present-day amenities and the best components. Each job starts with having to find a usable donor. The city of Breckenridge, CO, bought the red truck in our gallery in 1947 and used it as a snowplow for the next 30 years. In 1977 a log-home builder bought it from the city and used it for another decade as a company hauler. That's the kind of grueling longevity that lets Ram put a five-figure premium on the 2500 Power Wagon pickup it sells today. Legacy Classics founder Winslow S.
Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Motorweek's decades of history on television make it the perfect medium to look back into the automotive past and see how things are different now. It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.
2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop hits the pavement ahead of Detroit
Tue, 07 Jan 2014Dodge is getting ready to spread the Blacktop-themed love to the smallest member of its lineup. Last year, the automaker offered up Blacktop versions of the Avenger, Challenger, Charger, Durango, Grand Caravan and Journey. And now the Dart, too, gets its dark on for 2014, with the $295 package offered on Dart SXT models equipped with the Rallye Appearance Group. The Dart Blacktop will make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week.
As with the other Blacktop special-edition models, the Dart Blacktop gets glossy black accents for a "sporty, sinister look." The blacked-out treatment spreads across the 18-inch wheels to the crosshair grille, grille surround and headlamp bezels. The interior sees a similar treatment, with black and light tungsten or black and ruby red cloth to go with red accent stitching on the instrument panel, center console and seat bolsters.
For the 2014 model year, all Dart SXT and Limited models receive the 2.4-liter MultiAir2 Tigershark engine with 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, and since the Blacktop is based on the SXT, that's the powerplant buyers of this special-edition will get, too. Expect the 2014 Dart Blacktop to hit dealers in the first quarter, and while you're waiting, feel free to read more in the official press release below.
