THIS IS ARGUEABLE THE BEST LOOKING TRUCK ON THE ROAD!

2009 RAM LARAMIE WITH EVERY OPTION, INCLUDING THE RARE AND DESIRABLE RAM BOX!

AUSTIN TAN PEARL 2 TONE - WITH PEBBLE BEIGE & DARK BROWN INTERIOR

I'm selling my 2009 Laramie 4x4 because I just bought a new truck.....another RAM Laramie that is exactly like this one!  I've had all of them....Chevy Avalanche, GMC Sierra, Toyota Tundra, Ford F150, and then this RAM.  And when it came time to buy another truck, this is the first time ever I didn't even consider any other brand.  RAM has become the best truck in the business in my opinion, and the only reason I am selling it and bought another is because my business provides a new vehicle every 4 years.

If you like your trucks to be loaded, this one is!  It has ALL of the expected options.....PLUS many hard to find extras, including:

  • 5.7L Hemi with 5 speed automatic transmission
  • 4x4 drivetrain with tow hooks and transfer case skid plate sheild
  • Heated and ventilated front seats PLUS heated rear seats
  • Heated steering wheel, too!
  • Power sliding rear window
  • Power dual position moon roof
  • Premium navigation with voice controls
  • AM/FM/CD/DVD/HDD (hard disk drive) premium stereo with 9 speaker Alpine surround sound
  • Factory rear seat entertainment package, including DVD and Sirius TV (Disney & Cartoon Network - visit www.siriusxm.com/backseatTV )
  • Rear camera and ParkSense rear park assist system
  • Remote start with 2 factory key fobs
  • Tow package with professionally installed trailer brake
  • Heavy duty engine cooling
  • Optional 32 gallon gas tank
  • Power, folding, heated chrome mirrors with memory settings
  • 3.92 positraction (anti-spin) rear end
  • 115V auxillary power outlet
  • Engine block heater
  • Stainless Steel tubular side steps
  • 20" Chrome clad wheels

and my personal favorite....

  • RamBox cargo management bed - the greatest thing since sliced bread!

This truck is painted in the same color combination as the promotional truck used in the factory ads and brochures - and it is a stunning combination (Austin Tan Pearlcoat) .  To date, I couldn't begin to tell you how many times people have walked up to me and said 'that is the best looking truck I've ever seen!'.   It is simply a gorgeous truck!  I do have the factory options summary, complete owners documentation, and service records since I purchased it in 2010.

I bought this truck in 2010 as a Chrysler Corporate vehicle. It is still covered by a Chrysler MaxCare Service Contract extended warranty, covering over 5,000 components bumper to bumper.  This warranty will expire at 85,000 miles (that's not to far away), but I believe the contract can even be extended if you like.

The truck is in GREAT condition for a 5 year old vehicle, with only a few cosmetic imperfections here and there.  It has a couple of small scratches, a few small paint chips, and a 1" separation at a seam on the drivers seat (should be repairable with minimal expense). I just had a full service (with spark plugs and systems check) and an oil change and tire rotation done this week. Brakes were done about 15,000 miles ago.  Two of the tires are 50% percent, and the other two are around 20-25%.  Of course, the bed has some scratches in it.  I have kept it well maintained, and baby it as best you can with a truck.  The truck should have a clean CarFax, but may show a repair that I had to have made in 2010.  I had only had the truck for one week when I took it to the car wash, and the attendant ran it into a block wall at around 5 MPH. Their insurance company paid for the repair, which I insisted be done by the best shop in the area (Davis Auto Body).  I have full documentation of this repair, and insisted that ALL replacement parts were NEW MOPAR parts - no aftermarket was used.  The repair was fully warranted and that was about 45,000 miles ago.  I don't know that it would show up on a CarFax report, but I would want any buyer to be aware of it.....as I would want to know myself.

If there are any other specific pictures or further details about the truck that you need, feel free to send me an email with requests, and I will reply promptly with your requested info. My email address is scott@realteam360.com.  Speaking of pictures, you will notice that some of the photos were shot at an earlier date (white letters out on the tires).  I included them, because I feel they show the paint color more accurately (shot on a different, better camera).  The most recent photos are the ones with the black walls out.

My name is Scott, and I can be reached at (805)- 391 - 050 nine (to help avoid spam calls).  Please feel free to ring me to review your specific questions!  The truck is seriously for sale, and will be sold this month.  I believe my price is fair, but if you don't agree, there is a 'BEST OFFER' button!  The mileage will increase slightly over the course of the auction, as my new truck won't be here until the 25th of the month.   We are located exactly half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco, on CA Hwy 101 (Paso Robles, CA).  I encourage you to inspect the truck....or have it inspected, before you buy!  I will reasonably help with your transportation company if you have the truck shipped.  And thanks for looking!

Mustang, Camaro, Challenger gallop onto USPS pony car postage stamp set

Tue, Jul 19 2022

Some of America's most iconic cars are about to be immortalized on postage stamps. A new set by the U.S. Postal Service will celebrate the the golden era of pony cars, featuring five classic examples of Detroit iron. Each one is beautifully illustrated in oil-on-canvas style, with subjects in motion and sunlight glinting off the chrome, and would add a nice touch to any first-class letter. The pony car segment was all about (relatively) small, sporty alternatives to the full-size land yachts of the 1960s. They typically came equipped with 6-cylinder engines or small-block V8s. The category was named after the Ford Mustang, hence  the name. Some, though, argue that the Plymouth Barracuda, which was launched a couple of weeks before the Mustang, is the first. Luckily, the Falcon-based Mustang's distinct styling generated a sales sensation, or we might be calling them fish cars. Appropriately, one of the featured cars is a Mustang. But it's not just any Mustang. The 1969 Boss 302, seen here resplendent in Bright Yellow, was created for the hotly-contested SCCA Trans-Am racing series. One of its main rivals would have been the 1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28, also created specifically for the series, and is included in the set in Fathom Green. Representing Auburn Hills in the set is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T in Plum Crazy, while Southfield's American Motors gets a nod with an AMC Javelin in Big Bad Orange. The Mustang's platform cousin, a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7, is portrayed in a gorgeous Burgundy Poly that almost looks incomplete without Neko Case on the hood. It's not the first time the USPS has honored America's rich car culture on its stamps. In 2013, it issues a series of muscle car stamps with the help of Richard Petty. That set featured a 1966 Pontiac GTO, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1970 Chevelle SS, 1970 Plymouth Hemi ’Cuda and, of course, a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Another set in 2016 featured classic pickup trucks. Going further back, a 2008 release had chroed and finned automobiles of the 1950s and a 2005 release featured sporty American cars of the same era. The pony car stamps will debut on August 25 at the Great American Stamp Show in Sacramento, California in partnership with the American Philatelic Society. The public is free to attend the dedication ceremony, but you must RSVP first. After that, they will be available at local post offices and on line at the USPS store.

Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.
Take a look through the gallery to see what you think of the sketches for these concepts, and scroll down for the full announcement from FCA.

Stellantis mega-merger gets approval from FCA, PSA shareholders

Mon, Jan 4 2021

MILAN — Shareholders of Fiat Chrysler and PSA Peugeot decisively voted Monday to merge the U.S.-Italian and French carmakers to create worldÂ’s 4th-largest auto company. Addressing separate meetings, both PSA Peugeot CEO Carlos Tavares and Fiat Chrysler Chairman John Elkann spoke of the “historic” importance of the vote, which combines legacy car companies that helped write the industrial histories of the United States, France and Italy. Before the merger is finalized, shares in the new company, to be called Stellantis, must the launched. It will be traded in Milan, New York and Paris. The marriage of PSA Peugeot and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is built on the promise of cost-savings in the capital-hungry industry, but what remains to be seen is if it will be able to preserve jobs and heritage brands in a global market still suffering from the pandemic. The deal will create the worldÂ’s fourth-largest carmaker, with the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, behind Volkswagen, Toyota and Renault-Nissan, and create 5 billion euros in annual synergies.  “We are fully aware of the fact that together we will be stronger than individually,'' PSA CEO Carlos Tavares told a virtual gathering of eligible shareholders. “The two companies are in good health. These two companies have strong positions in their markets.” The new company will put together under one roof French mass-market carmakers Peugeot and Citroen, top-selling Jeep and Italian luxury and sports brands Maserati and Alfa Romeo - pooling companies that have helped define the industry in the United States, France and Italy. While the tie-up is billed as a merger of equals, the power advantage goes to PSA, with Tavares running Stellantis and holding the tie-breaking vote on the 11-seat board. Tavares is set to take full control of the company early this year, possibly by the end of January. Fiat Chrysler chairman John Elkann, heir to the Fiat-founding Agnelli family and Fiat ChryslerÂ’s biggest shareholder, will be the Stellantis chairman. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will head North American operations, which is key to Tavares' long-time goal of getting a U.S. foothold for the French carmaker he has run since 2014, and the clear money-maker for Fiat Chrysler. Such a deal was long wanted by Fiat ChryslerÂ’s long-time CEO Sergio Marchionne, who had predicted the necessity of consolidation in the industry. He was unable to find a deal before his sudden death in July 2018.
