I bought this truck with the intention of keeping it as a second truck.  I really enjoy driving it.  It’s just not practical for me right now as a second vehicle.

When I first bough the truck I took it to a mechanic and had it completely inspected.  I wanted the truck to be a solid every day driver, it is now.  I replaced the transmission, transfer case, completely rebuild the rear end, installed posi traction, serviced front transfer and axel, replaced timing chain, intake gaskets, new starter, coil, ignition coils, exhaust, brakes and computer.  I spent a fortune to have everything done right.

I would have no reservation at all about driving this truck across the country tomorrow.  It is mechanically solid and drives perfect.  Everything works as it should.

I moved to Texas in 2008 and decided to get my car dealer license because I love to buy and sell cars and motorcycles.  It has always been more of a hobby than a business (thank god, or I would starve) I only buy and sell a couple cars every month and I am very picky about what I get.  Read my eBay feedback and you will see that I don’t sell many cars but everyone gets a great deal.  I listed this car as a private seller because I do not provide financing options as a large dealer would.  I’m a one man operation.

You will be very happy with this truck.  It is solid, drives perfect and would rate in very good shape.

Very hard to find a 2000 truck in this good of shape.  I have a clean Texas Title.

The paint is custom and in good condition.  The body looks very nice, only a few light dings in the tailgate, nothing that stands out.  No sign of any prior damage history.

The interior is in very good condition.  No cigarette smell, small wear on driver’s seat.  No burns in the seats or carpet. The back seat looks good.  Everything works as it should. AC blows cold.  Sound system with CD.

This truck is in better shape than many of the newer cars I have seen.  It is rare to find a truck that is as solid as this one.

This truck will sell to the high bidder regardless if that is $5000 or $50,000.

Trade ?? I will accept a trade, no junk.  If you want to trade you will need to contact me before bidding to establish the value of your trade.  I will end the auction early for a good trade of offer but I will never end the auction during the last 24 hours of the auction. I am very interested in a md-engine ski boat.

I really hope to get what this truck is worth but I will trust the auction to bring whatever the market will pay.  Whoever wins this bid will be very happy!

I will be happy to help you arrange to get the truck to your home as long as it has been paid for before it leaves my driveway.  I would suggest that you fly into San Antonio or Austin, you can drive it home.

The winning bidder will need to pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours and the balance within 5 days.  You can leave the truck here up to 30 days, once it is paid for.

This is a true NO RESERVE!  High Bidder Wins!

Bull leads Texas police on four hour chase

Thu, May 12 2016

A bull leading police on a chase through a Texas town may sound like something out of a country music song, but police in Arlington, Texas recently had just such a situation on their hands. According to WFAA, on the afternoon of May 9, a young bull got loose from his pen and decided to take a stroll through the streets of Arlington. "There was a cow walking down the neighborhood," said Arlington resident Jillyan Nance. "It trotted down my home and cut across our yard into the neighbor's yard." Arlington police were alerted to the escaped bull and, in a scene more Texas than Steve Earle drinking a Shiner at the Alamo, they attempted to chase it down with police cruisers. For the next four hours, police engaged the creature in a sedate, low-speed chase through Arlington, Dalworthington Gardens, and other neighboring towns. The bull, for his part, largely ignored his pursuers and the throngs of people coming out of their houses to watch the strange scene and post pictures to Facebook and Instagram. With numerous police cruisers in not-quite-hot pursuit, the bull ambled along the shady streets, stopping here and there to munch on some grass and take in the views. Eventually, a friendly local rancher showed up and lassoed the bull in Dalworthington Gardens just before 9:00 p.m. Police have not released the name of the bull's owner or any motive for its escape. Perhaps, like the unicorn that escaped into a California orchard back in February, it decided that it had had enough of working for a living and was looking for something else. China-FCA merger could be a win-win for everyone but politicians

Tue, Aug 15 2017

NEW YORK — Fiat Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne has said the car industry needs to come together, cut costs and stop incinerating capital. So far, his words have mostly fallen on deaf ears among competitors in Europe and North America. But it appears Marchionne has finally found a receptive audience — in China. FCA shares soared Monday after trade publication Automotive News reported the $18 billion Italian-American conglomerate controlled by the Agnelli family rebuffed a takeover from an unidentified carmaker from the Chinese mainland. As ugly as the politics of such a combination may appear at first blush, a transaction could stack up industrially, and perhaps even financially. A Sino-U.S.-European merger would create the first truly global auto group. That could push consolidation to the next level elsewhere. Moreover, China is the world's top market for the SUVs that Jeep effectively invented, so it might benefit FCA financially. A combo would certainly help upgrade the domestic manufacturer; Chinese carmakers have gotten better at making cars, but struggle to build global brands, and they need to develop export markets. Though frivolous overseas shopping excursions by Chinese enterprises are being reined in by Beijing, acquisitions that support the modernization and transformation of strategic industries still receive support, and the government considers the automotive industry to be strategic. A purchase of FCA by Guangzhou Automobile, Great Wall or Dongfeng Motors would probably get the same stamp of approval ChemChina was given for its $43 billion takeover of Syngenta. What's standing in the way? Apart from price (Automotive News said FCA's board deemed the offer insufficient) there's the not-insignificant matter of politics. Even as FCA shares soared, President Donald Trump interrupted his vacation to instruct the U.S. Trade Representative to look into whether to investigate China's trade policies on intellectual property. Seeing storied Detroit brands like Jeep, Chrysler, Ram and Dodge handed off to a Chinese company would provoke howls among Trump's economic-nationalist supporters. It might not play well in Italy, either, to see Alfa Romeo and Maserati answering to Wuhan instead of Turin — though Automotive News said they might be spun off separately. Yet, as Morgan Stanley observes, "cars don't ship across oceans easily," and political considerations increasingly demand local manufacture of valuable products.

2015 Dodge Viper GTC available in 25 million no-cost combos with 1 Of 1 bespoke program

Thu, Jan 8 2015

What's the one thing no car can have too much of? Here's a hint – it's not power. It's not efficiency, either, or technology, or even safety. It's exclusivity. It's one reason Rolls-Royce has become a legend building absolutely bespoke motor vehicles, and it's the reason Dodge, of all companies, is offering a new GTC trim level for its Viper supercar. Now, you might be asking what's so special and exclusive about a trim level? Well, in the Viper GTC's case, it gives owners access to a catalog of 8,000 shades of paint for the exterior, 24,000 "hand-painted" custom stripe patterns, 10 different wheel options, 16 interior trims and no fewer than six aerodynamic packages. That results in 25 million different configurations for the 645-horsepower snake. Most shockingly, the customization choices come at no additional cost on the GTC model. And it's only the start. Ordering a GTC will enroll customers in a unique VIP program called Viper Concierge, which according to Dodge, "offers an exclusive point of contact throughout the custom Viper build process." In other words, buyers will be given the means to stay right on top of their car's production, through the 140-to-160-hour painting process, which itself will be fully documented with pictures and through a mobile-friendly website, to the actual construction of their GTC. The Concierge process will start with the ordering stage, which will include Dodge sending customers a paint chip showing the owner's custom choosing, which they can confirm or refuse. Shortly thereafter, Dodge will send buyers a 1:18-scale "speed-form" replica in their chosen custom colors, once again to confirm or deny the build. Once the buyer's color and option selection is locked-in, that car becomes a one-of-one Viper for that year – no other buyer will be permitted to build a Viper to the same specifications. The concierge service also grants access to the Viper Ambassador Owner's Portal, where orderers can track their car's build process, receive weekly updates and share their excitement with (jealous) friends and family. And once the car is complete, it will be fitted with a custom dash plaque identifying its bespoke provenance – the owner can choose to have their name put on the badge, the car's nickname, or whatever they wish (Dodge will also ship each Viper with a second blank plate to include if the original owner sells the car).
