Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Low Miles 2004 Hemi Matching Cap Slt And Crome Package on 2040-cars
Hastings, Michigan, United States
I am selling the best truck, actually vehicle, I have ever owned. I bought it new in and am the only/original owner, and have my original sticker. I am asking book value, but will consider all reasonable offers. The only reason I am selling it is because our family has out grown the cab size and we are going to do some traveling. Please see my/our feedback ratings so you know we are honest and fair on all of our transactions. About the truck, it is a 5.7L Hemi "Magnum" with the $1,170.00 5speed transmission option, so even though it has all the power you need it also really gets pretty good gas mileage and runs smooth. It has the Off Road package, but I did not like the looks of the Red Stickers so I had them removed by the dealership. It has a quality fiberglass cap that was installed by the dealership with a factory paint match color, as wee the mud flaps. I had the dealership rust proof it, and then I would spot under coat it each summer, which it needs it again if you choose to. The rust is not bad underneath due to me doing this every year. In-fact, there is only one small surface rust spot that is now just starting on the tail-gate where the water wholes are at and one from a paint chip. The only other small area is on the driver door down by the door wrap, which I have sanded and rust stopper painted each year since it started. There are NO soft spots and/or through areas, and the only three surface rust areas I have mentioned, see pics. This truck has been babied, and everything works like new, including the Cold AC. It has the top of the line Premium cloth 6 way power seats, which were always covered so they also look like new. It has the Chrome Package including wheels and hood protector; leather wrapped steering wheel; power heated outside Mirrors; power windows and locks; cab window; trailer package (I only ever pulled a small 6x8 utility trailer); 700 amp battery , and the Good Year tires are less than a year old. I have taken meticulous care of this vehicle including it has only had Mobil One Synthetic oil used in it since the first oil change at 500 miles and K&M filters since 3,000 miles. I have all receipts for all of the maintenance and repairs. It recently had the front bearing done on it, which is common for this year and make of truck. It has also had the breaks done in the past two years, and the transmission fluid and filter changed. The only leak or issue on the whole truck is there is a small leak from one of the power steering connections that I can't reach/get to, that will leave some small drips. Any dealer or mechanic can get to it, but I have not had it done as I knew I was going to have to sell it. This truck is in awesome shape for any age and is as nice of truck you could ever find for a2004 to be honest I hate to sell it, but also hate to see it sit in my garage week after week, which it has been kept since day one. If you have any questions please call me at 269-945-7115 and/or email me through ebay. I will accept cash only at the time of pick-up and require a $500.00 deposit through PayPal to hold the truck. All transactions must be complete by three days after the end of the auction, unless agreed upon by seller. All deposits will not be returned if the buyer decides not to buy the vehicle. |

Nine cars we wish were convertibles
Thu, Apr 16 2015The snow has melted, the sun is shining, and the days are getting longer. At the Autoblog Detroit office we feel like our winter hibernation is finally over. And with warmer temperatures come visions of opening up a convertible roof and cruising. You know, just turn up the bass and let the Alpine blast. There are plenty of droptops on sale in the US, and more on the way (like the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata). That said, we always want more. More! More! More! In that spirit, we cooked up a list of nine cars aren't currently sold as convertible, but ought to be. Check out our picks, below. Summer's just around the corner. Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S In some parallel universe, this car actually happened. Toyota showed us a FT 86 Convertible concept at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, and we immediately started licking our chops over the thought of a rear-wheel-drive convertible based on the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S twins. These days, the MX-5 Miata is our only option for affordable roadster fun. A competitor to the Mazda seems like a no-brainer to us, especially since we have naught but good to say about the BRZ/FR-S as-is. Unfortunately in our present timeline, this car is as likely for production as a BRZ STI. Which is to say, not very. Dang. Lexus RC F Unlike the FR-S, a convertible from Toyota's luxury division might actually see the light of day. The current IS convertible is about to be phased out, and the Lexus LF-C2 concept from the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show is really a thinly veiled look at a possible RC convertible. A droptop RC would be plenty good, but let's reach for the starts. What we really want is to run topless in an RC F, complete with that powerful, loud, 5.0-liter V8 engine. Lexus says the RC F is a true competitor to the BMW M4. If that's true, it only makes sense for Lexus to mimic the Germans and offer its performance coupe in a folding hardtop form. Maybach Landaulet Maybach is bach back, recast as an upper crust trim level for Mercedes-Benz. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 is seriously awesome, and more luxurious than a trip to the spa. But why not go a step into the truly ridiculous levels of extravagence and bring back that open-top Landaulet? We think your local princess will love this idea, and with better S-Class bones underneath, Jeeves will have a pretty enjoyable ship to steer, too. Besides, with that slick new Mercedes design language, a Landaulet redux wouldn't be nearly as hideous as the old model, pictured here.
SRT back to Dodge, Dart SRT, new Challenger, Charger and Caravan's death outlined in 5-yr plan
Tue, 06 May 2014The onslaught of news from Fiat Chrysler's layout of five-year plans continued with Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis this morning, including the unexpected announcement that SRT was coming back into the fold.
After just a few years existing as an independent entity within the Fiat Chrysler universe, an unceremonious press release hit in conjunction with today's lineup of announcements, saying "the SRT family of vehicles will be consolidated under the Dodge brand." Group CEO Sergio Marchionne thanked SRT headman Ralph Gilles for his dedication to the high-performance wing, calling out is efforts in expanding the vehicle lineup and including more customized models. He did not reference disappointing SRT Viper sales today, but we sense there's a bit of subtext.
With the SRT reunion at Dodge, it's appropriate that some of the most exciting product announcements for the next five years have to do with upcoming performance products. First out of the gate will be a refresh for that flagging Viper in 2015, which comes as little surprise.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat's 707 storming horses can be yours for $60k
Wed, 16 Jul 2014We love a good deal on high performance. It's what traditionally makes muscle cars so appealing - you get lots of speed, for not a lot of money. For 2015, Dodge has taken this to its logical extreme, offering its new 707-horsepower, supercharged, V8-powered Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat for just $59,900. For those wondering, that works out to just about $85 per horsepower, which when compared with a typical budget performance car, like the $24,995, 210-hp Volkswagen GTI ($119 per hp), demonstrates the Hellcat's astonishing value.
The information was revealed by a photo (click on the inset image to expand) taken at this week's Portland launch event (our man Seyth Miersma is just now on the ground and will have a full report on the madness that is the Hellcat soon) for the entire 2015 Challenger range, and reveals the Hellcat's price alongside its high-powered competitors from Ford and Chevrolet.
The discontinued 662-hp Mustang GT500 started at $56,000, while the 580-hp Camaro ZL1 starts off at $58K. Indeed, the only muscle car that outprices the Hellcat is the track-focused Camaro Z/28, a car that we're guessing could still wallop the Hellcat on the right piece of track, despite being down over 200 hp.
