2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 – Regular Cab – 6 Speed Manual Hurst Shifter – Navigation – Very Clean Interior, Engine Bay, Exterior – Less Than 14K miles!!!Only 471 of these Regular Cab SRT-10 Pickups were manufactured in Black in 2005, Super Rare

What we have for sale here is the ultra rare, never to be produced again 2005 lightweight 8.3L 10 Cylinder OHV 20 valve Viper powered sport truck to beat all sport trucks! This example has less than 13.9K miles and is rust free, 2 adult owned. It has immaculate dark grey leather and suede interior that smells like new.

Power drivers seat, leather trimmed steering wheel, cruise control, steering wheel audio controls for the awesome Infinity Stereo, CD audio system that is factory original. It has a Navigation System, Manual sliding rear window. Rear Spoiler, Hood Scoop, Fog Lamps, 22-inch Polished Chrome Wheels with very light oxidation (see photos). This was purchased 1.5 years ago in Texas with 7K miles on it and has been very carefully driven to shows and cruise nights for the additional 6.5K miles under my care. I have owned many spectacular sport vehicles including a LS7 Z06 Corvette.  This truck shifts and steers tighter than the Corvette!!! It is capable of 16+ MPG on the highway. You wouldn’t even be reading this if you didn’t know that these trucks were only produced 3 years in very low numbers and are already starting to go up in value. I think this is a blue chip motor vehicle investment (think 1970 Superbird).

Recent service included a full oil change with filter, new spark plugs, replacement of a coil pack, and thermostat. This truck has never had any accident damage, never been smoked in, or carried a pet. This truck has had excellent care and service with no expense spared and is currently in top low mileage condition. The bed has never hauled a single thing. Buy it with confidence from a private party with 100% satisfaction ratings with Ebay. If you want to get a flavor of the rarity and how collectible these are going to be, take a look at the Wikipedia page for Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10. It still holds the world record for the fastest pickup ever manufactured. Read all about it on Wikipedia and come back and bid on this no reserve sale. I have over $30,000 in this vehicle and it sold new for over $45,000. I firmly believe you can buy this truck today and enjoy it carefully, like I have, while doubling your money in the next 5-10 years. I will be very sorry I sold this but with 2 kids going to college this fall I don't have the luxury to keep things until they skyrocket like I believe this vehicle will soon.

Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.

Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.

Jay Leno gets his denim mitts on Dodge's new Challenger Hellcat

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is definitely the performance car of the moment. The fact that in the near future, people will be able to buy a 707-horsepower muscle machine straight from a major automaker for $59,995 and with a factory warranty almost seems absurd. We drove it recently and found the Hellcat to be just as much of a beast as its numbers would suggest. Now, it's a certain comedian's turn behind the wheel in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage.
This week's guest is Dodge President and CEO Tim Kuniskis, and he's there to drop all sorts of interesting factoids about the Hellcat. For example, its Pirelli P Zero tires retail at around $300 each, he says. That makes its smoky burnouts a rather expensive proposition. Kuniskis, who recently hinted at a mystery Woodward Dream Cruise debut, also talks about the genesis of the 2015 SRT project with a goal to get over some of the standard Challenger's weight and size disadvantages. The fix is a supercharged V8, massive brakes and other goodies to smooth over the platform's more glaring shortcomings.
Leno appears to get a big kick out of the Hellcat. However, he can't seem to stop bringing up his desire to drive one with a six-speed manual. They obviously exist, but Kuniskis has an eight-speed automatic for the retired Tonight Show host to try out. Of course, as with any Hellcat video, there has to be at least one burnout. Despite the expensive tires, it seems like enthusiast's law at this point - and dear ol' Jay wouldn't want to break any rules, would he?
