Upgraded newer model 20" wheels on 32" all-terrain tires (75% tread)

The truck has high miles due to 95% Highway driving daily, as an estimate truck for a Tree Service & Landscaping company.  The truck is driven all over Atlanta, GA and average 50 - 100 miles per day.  The truck performs flawlessly as a reliable transportation vehicle, rides smooth at 85 - 95 mph when needed, and will transport loads within its rated capacity with no problem.  The only reason we're selling it is due to needing to get a heavier duty truck (3500 dually flatbed) so that we can pick up heavy loads while out making sales calls.

The only known flaws are mainly cosmetic and do not hamper the trucks reliability or comfort.   The truck as some minor scratches on the bed sides, one dent in the lower chrome front bumper, one gouge/hole in the upper red front bumper, a chipped paint area the size of a quarter above the driver's headlight, the bed liner has a small bend in the lip in the middle of the driver's side, and the interior carpet has dirt stains.   As far as the drivetrain, everything operates fine, but the motor consumes oil... about 1 qt every 2 weeks.  The truck doesn't smoke or drip the oil, it's not a noticeable leak and has been like this since I purchased the truck over a year ago.  It's more or less just a routine check and add a qt every 2 weeks.   Due to this and the high mileage, the truck is being offered at a low starting price that takes all of this into account, but offers the right person who appreciates this type of truck a great deal...  comfortable interior, great ride, dependable, towing capacity, and pretty good fuel economy (its the smaller V8).

Please come inspect and test-drive the truck before bidding, it is sold AS-IS / WHERE IS.  We have a clear title for the truck and it pass GA emissions.  Please make sure you have full payment ready (CASH, Cashier's Check, or Credit Card) if you want to bid.  A 10% deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction close.  The truck must be picked up within 7 days of the auction's close.

Watch dual-engined Dodge SRT4 do a FWD burnout, a RWD burnout, then AWD launch

Wed, Dec 3 2014

There's something fantastically insane about racers who go out on their own and build something unique. Just take this crazy video from last year of a twin-engine Dodge SRT4 at a drag strip that can burn the rubber at either end – or both ends – at a moment's notice. With tires sticking out way past the fenders, a massive cooling system at the front and no back window to speak of, this Dodge is clearly meant solely for speed. Though it's real party trick is being able to spin the front or rear wheels independently. The setup makes for three quite showy burnouts. When it came time to actually get down the track, things got somewhat awkward. Like other twin-engine creations we've seen, the separate powertrains make for some odd sounds and a weird look launching down the strip. Still, there's no doubt that the engineering behind this Frankenstein is very impressive. Scroll down to see this monster in action and another of it in a very mismatched race last year. Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.
We'll know more when the Mopar '14 Challenger is revealed at the SEMA show in early November. In the meantime, click the image above to check out the teaser in high resolution, and have a look below for Chrysler's official press blast.

11 vehicles from Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas worth watching

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

This weekend will see the world's collector car crowds descend on Las Vegas, NV for one of the biggest shows on Barrett-Jackson's popular auction circuit. There are hundreds of vehicles up for bidding, ranging from a brand-new Lamborghini Aventador to a spattering of Art Deco classics and a huge swath of classic muscle cars.
While it's virtually impossible to assemble an inarguable list of the best cars coming during the three-day, 700-plus vehicle auction, we've sifted through the listings for this year's show - it was a tough assignment, we promise - and assembled a list of what we think will be some of the most interesting lots. We'll admit, it's a bit heavy on American iron, but if you browse BJ's listings, you'll come to a similar conclusion. Still, scroll down for our list of what we think will be the most interesting vehicles at the upcoming auction.
