So here is the story on the truck...
I bought the truck from owner #2 as a donor vehicle for a cummins conversion...I did not have the heart to dissassemble this truck as it was too nice to do that too. Owner #2 bought this truck in Las Vegas in 1997. He bought a newer diesel truck in 2005, and it stayed on his ranch, and he placed it on non-op with the state of california back in 2007. It is a loaded Club Cab LE truck...

The truck is very solid. There is no cancer on this truck, but does need paint. there is a spot on the bed where it has been repaired before, and paint has faded differently from other areas, and has clear coat peeling as well. The floors are about as nice as they come, and the roof is solid. There is no visible rust on the underside of this truck, and is consistent with Dry California vehicles.

Truck will need front tires, the rear dually have about 5k miles on them...rears are a matching set of 235/85r16 and don't rub...the fronts are 215/85r16 and are old and hold air...they need replaced...

As the pictures show, this truck deserves a restoration, the interior
is serviceable, but will need a headliner redone.

Please ask questions, as I will do my best to answer them
.
Total Miles=212344

This truck deserves to be restored or used like it is. I don't have time to play with it as I wanted to, and sold off the crew cab that I was going to utilize the cummins drivetrain on, so selling it off so someone can enjoy it.

I will be selling some of my other projects off in the coming weeks, Dodge PALOMINO truck, Dodge Monaco Police 440 car, Ramcharger C/S

I reserve the right to end this auction in the event of a local sale.

Vehicle is sold in "as-is where is" condition with no implied, written or verbal warranty.

Daily driving a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Tue, Feb 9 2016

I took delivery of my 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat at Ron Carter Dodge in League City. Bobby Pate and the entire Ron Carter team made the buying experience painless. Thanks, guys! It was worth the nine-month wait to get a new Challenger Hellcat at sticker price. My Hellcat is Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl with a black interior. The car has the six-speed manual transmission and UConnect. Yes, I know the eight-speed automatic is faster, but the manual transmission provides a level of enjoyment that must be experienced to be appreciated. My original intention was to write daily about my experiences with the Hellcat, but I have been having too much fun with the car. The first 100 miles required incredible self-control to keep the car under 55 mph and engine speed under 3500 rpm. The difference in the driving experience after 500 miles was – and I am only exaggerating a little – life altering! The Red Key To paraphrase Morpheus in The Matrix, "You take the black key, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red key, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes." The black key is in a place where it will stay until the red key is snatched from my cold, dead hand. The red key is the only key. The red key is "The Key." All 707 horsepower are available with the red key. You can lower the horsepower to only 500 using the SRT pages, I have heard, but why? I have driven the Hellcat in bumper-to-bumper Houston traffic in red-key mode. I have driven the Hellcat in the pouring rain in red-key mode. I have driven the Hellcat to the mall, to the grocery store, to the movies, and to Killen's Steakhouse in Pearland for a 100% Japanese Wagyu steak from the Kagoshima Prefecture. (It was a birthday present from my son. My money goes into the gas tank of my Hellcat.) Just for fun, I used the SRT Pages to put the car in valet mode. For those of you who do not know, valet mode limits the horsepower to: oh, hell! Who cares? The car felt like the parking brake had not been disengaged. I have heard rumors that the Tremec six-speed transmission has a 1-4 skip-shift feature. My Hellcat has never been subjected to this travesty.Questions, questions, and more questions Q: How much over sticker did you have to pay? A: Zero Q: What kind of gas mileage do you get? A: ROTFL Q: How did you ever talk your significant other into letting you buy the Hellcat? A: I didn't ask.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat valet mode angers parking attendant

Thu, Mar 10 2016

I spent over three years as a valet. It was good money and an excellent second job when I was getting my start as a writer – ten hours per week at the small restaurant I worked for was good for anywhere from $150 to $250. Over those years, I can say with absolute confidence I never goofed off in someone's car. Unfortunately, not all valets are so trustworthy. Like these idiots. Apparently, a Dodge Challenger Hellcat owner captured the valets at Universal Studios in Florida on his dashcam messing about behind the wheel of his 707-horsepower muscle car. One valet is behind the wheel and there's another riding shotgun as they aimlessly wander about the parking lot, lamenting the fact that the owner (wisely) engaged valet mode before handing over the keys. "We can't do anything," they whine. The owner, for his part, seemed pretty cool about the whole thing, writing in the YouTube description that he purposely kicked up the exposure at the end of the video to hide the identities of the valets. He also added that they didn't do anything wrong – this former valet agrees to disagree, based on the over four minutes it takes to actually park the car – and that he was thankful for valet mode. You can check out the video above – be warned, though, there is some language in it. And remember, if you valet your car, use valet mode, check the odometer when you drop off and pick up, and if everything checks out, give the poor guys a tip. Want more recent Hellcat news?
