1970 Dodge Power Wagon W100
A real nice original Power Wagon with 318 and 727 automatic transmission and 3.73 gears. The odometer reads 46,838 miles and I was told by the previous owner that it was actual, though I cannot verify it, I would agree with it based off the overall wear and tear of interior and the tightness of the column shifter. The gauges all work, lights, turn signals, wipers, heater and radio 8 Track. The interior paint, dash pad (original and no cracks) and gauges are in really good shape and it appears that the truck has been garaged most of its life. The truck has been repainted at some point an original turquoise adding a gray color to the upper part of cab though not real recently. The floor boards have been patched I was told by previous owner, there is rust through on passenger rocker panel and some rust on drivers rocker as well, but not through. The bed has a piece of steel in front part of bed on floor (welded in as an additional support for fuel tank in rear?) There are lots of classic Ford and Chevy trucks available. There are a few Dodge Power Wagons as original as this one...... Email me and ask questions and I will try to answer them as best I can or take additional pictures. The truck is mechanically solid, newer front and rear drivelines, reconditioned radiator and has near new 10 ply tires. It drives highway speeds and will do around 70 mph. Look at pictures and use the zoom feature too check it out!! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING COSTS!!! The Dodge Demon's massive hood scoop sucks air like a jet intake
Thu, Feb 9 2017You know what they say about cars with big hood scoops? They usually hide big blowers. At least that's the case with the Dodge Demon and its 45-inch wide hood scoop, the largest ever fitted to a factory production car. The fifth Demon teaser, "Forced Induction," shows off the increased capacity of the car's air intake and the resurrection of the Air Grabber hood scoop on Dodge's upcoming quarter-mile killer. View 4 Photos As with previous teasers, few details have been given outside of the Subaru-trouncing scoop's dimensions. Dodge says the scoop drops air inlet temperatures by more than 30 degrees. Where the more pedestrian Hellcat only has one air catcher headlight, both inner lights on the Demon are used to feed in air. The hood itself appears to channel air in and to the right into a new airbox that appears to be fitted with a K&N-style filter. Dodge seems intent on preventing any asthma issues with the new car. Standing in front of the car might literally take your breath away. Outside of that, the images don't show any new cryptic messages like previous teasers, or at least none that we can spot. One thing we did notice was that the engine block appears to be painted red, not orange like on the Hellcat. Doing some back and forth comparison also shows that the supercharger appears to be the same size as the current one. Of course, this is all speculative, so if you spot anything, drop a note in the comments. Related Video:

Watch the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat verify its 204-mph top speed
Thu, Jan 29 2015The industry is producing some ridiculously fast four-doors these days, from the Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte to the Mercedes E63 AMG and BMW M5. But the fastest of them all doesn't cost six figures. It doesn't even come from Europe. It's made right here in North America, by a US automaker. And it starts at under $64k. We're talking about the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the Pentastar muscle sedan with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and its 707 horsepower. Dodge claims it's the "quickest, fastest, most powerful [production] sedan ever," and they're not just blowing smoke... or smoking tires. During the final stages of development, engineers from Auburn Hills took a bone-stock, Hellcat-powered Charger out to a seven-mile oval for a top speed run and they filmed the occasion for posterity. The result? 206.9 miles per hour with the wind, 202.2 against it, for a two-way average top speed of 204.55 mph. Chew on that, imports.
