SAME OWNER FOR THE LAST 20 YRS...I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK WITH THE INTENTIONS OF USING IT ON A TIME TO TIME BASIS FOR JUST RUNNING AROUND TOWN WITH THE DOG HAULING HAY ECT..
PLANS HAVE NOW CHANGED AND THE TRUCK IS BACK ON THE MARKET FOR SALE.(I ENDED UP BUYING A NEWER CHEVY 4X4 FOR PART TIME DRIVER SO MY KID COULD LEARN HOW TO DRIVE MORE USER FRIENDLY)
THIS TRUCK WAS OWNED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER FOR ALMOST 20 YRS.
IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR MORE THAN 15 YEARS INSIDE A BIG SHOP.
THE 440 MOTOR THAT IS IN IT IS A FRESH BUILD WITH UNDER 1K MILES ALSO THE 727 AUTO TRANSMISSION IS ALSO A LOW MILE BUILD BUT IT WAS DONE B4 THE MOTOR FROM MY UNDERSTANDING
I HAVE ONLY DRIVEN THIS TRUCK ABOUT 5 MILES

IT HAS PRETTY DESCENT PAINT STILL AND A VERY CLEAN AND STRAIGHT BODY.
IT WAS INVOLVED IN A ACCIDENT MANY YEARS AGO AND WAS HIT ON THE LEFT REAR CORNER OF THE BED WHEN THE OTHER GUY OWNED IT.I HAVE A COPY OF THE POLICE REPORT TO SHOW DATE,TIME AND DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK...IT WAS A TOTAL FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND THE GUY BOUGHT IT BACK AND DID THE PROPER REPIARS AND KEPT ON DRIVING IT..THE TITLE IS A SALVAGE FROM MANY YRS AGO.
THIS TRUCK SEEMS TO DRIVE GOOD THERE IS NO FRAME DAMAGE ,I CRAWLED AROUD UNDER IT AND DID A GOOD INSPECTION OF IT B4 IT WAS BOUGHT,IT LOOKS GOOD AND DOES NOT EFFECT THE WAY THE TRUCK DROVE ,BUT IT STILL HOLDS THE BRANDED SALVAGE TITLE....
THE TRUCK START RIGHT UP AND SHIFTS THRU THE GEARS AS IT SHOULD.
IT HAS MINIMUM RUST A FEW LITTLE BUBBLES IN THE PAINT ON THE DOOR BOTTOM EDGES ARE STARTING.THE FLOOR SEEMS SOLID WITH ONLY SOME SURFACE RUST AND A FEW MINOR PIN HOLES.

BARDEN REAR BUMPER IS THE REAL DEAL IT HAS A CLASS 3 HITCH ALSO.
THE BRAKES WHERE DONE ABOUT 5 MOTHS AGO BUT THE RIGHT FRONT SEEMS TO BE GRABBING TOO HARD THE MECHANIC SAID THAT ITS BECAUSE IT HAD FLUID ON THE DRUM AND IT WOULD STOP ONCE IT WAS DRIVEN A LITTLE AND USED
IT DOES HAVE A/C BUT THE CONDENSER IS MISSING.REST OF IT IS INTACTED.
IT DOES HAVE POWER BRAKES,BUT NO POWER STEERING.(AGAIN THIS IS A MANS TRUCK NOT SOME NEW SOFT RIDING SHOW TRUCK.
ORIGINAL RUBBER FLOOR MAT IS STILL IN PLACE AND STILL IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE FOR BEING 43 YRS OLD
THE SEAT HAS BEEN REDONE ONCE OVER THE YRS BUT NEEDS TO BE FRESHENED UP AGAIN.THE CUSHION IS STILL FIRM AND NICE BUT THE TUCK AND ROLL MATERIAL NEEDS TO BE -DONE WITH A MORE OE STYLE LOOK.

Dodge celebrates centennial with Charger and Challenger 100th Anniversary Editions
Tue, 19 Nov 2013In 1914, the Dodge brothers went from being a parts supplier to a full-scale automaker, and to celebrate the centennial of this milestone, Dodge will offer special editions of the 2014 Charger and Challenger early next year. Both cars will be sold in limited numbers (although no specific number was given), and these cars will stand out thanks to unique touches like 20-inch wheels, 100th anniversary edition logos and the exclusive High Octane Red Pearl Coat paint job (shown above).
The 100th Anniversary Edition package, which runs $2,200 on the 2014 Charger and $2,500 on the 2014 Challenger, comes with red or black leather seats with a cloud print (for a denim-like look) and metal badges on the seatbacks that read "Dodge Est. 1914," while similar logos are also found on the wheel center caps and front fenders. The instrument gauges are unique to each car, with the Charger getting black gauges and the Challenger getting white gauges, and to enunciate the 100-year anniversary, both cars have red numerals on the speedometer for the 100-mile-per-hour mark.
Finishing off the 100th Anniversary Edition cars, which will be offered on V6 and R/T models, Dodge adds a flat-bottom steering wheel and embroidered floor mats as a part of the package. Scroll down for the full press release for these commemorative models.
Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017
Tue, Feb 17 2015Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).
Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats
Thu, 02 Jan 2014It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.
