1964 Dodge M601 Powerwagon, Power Wagon, Dodge Powerwagon, Wm300 on 2040-cars
Goffstown, New Hampshire, United States
1964 M601 Dodge WM300 Powerwagon with VERY little rust. This is the the
same chassis and running gears as the civilian powerwagon and actually
the data plate under the hood lists it has a WM300 which is what it is currently registered as in New Hampshire. Starts and runs great, transmission
and transfer case work as they should, winch works, most if not all the
lights work. Still has the 24 volt system. Rifle scabbards on each
side. Wood on the back of the troop seats is getting alittle soft in places, but
still functional. This has very little surface rust on the body or frame
and one spot on the side outside the seats that is starting to rust
through, which should show in the pictures. Take a look at the pictures of the underside, this has not been painted. The brakes are power and
work well but will need to be bled at least has they go soft when sitting. Horn works, vacuum hose is missing
from the wipers and the passenger windshield is cracked.Original paint
that was on it in service. The black spots were added in the 80's as
part of their camo scheme. The speedometer shows just over 30000, but
very well may be in kilometers as this was a Danish military truck. Extremely solid and basicly rust free truck. Sold with a Bill of sale and current NH registration, NO TITLE as it's over 15 years old and NH does not title vehicles over 15 years old. Your State DVM should accept this documentation, but please check before bidding. Ask all the questions you want BEFORE bidding. If you are local please feel free to take a look at the truck BEFORE bidding. Delivery within a reasonable distance
for a fee may be possible but please check with me before bidding. Dodge performance trio thrashed on Roadkill
Tue, Apr 14 2015Of all the shows that Motor Trend does, Roadkill is probably the last one we'd pick to evaluate the latest performance automobiles. That's not a slight against David Freiburger or Mike Finnegan, who host the show: they're certified gear-heads and the go-to guys when it comes to hot rods, rat rods and anything grungier than it is shiny. But as exemplary as they are of Detroit muscle, the Charger Hellcat, Challenger Hellcat and Viper are also shiny new pieces of metal. Still, since it will now be sponsoring the show, someone at Dodge apparently thought it would be a good idea to hand Freiburger and Finnegan the keys to the company's top performance models. So to ring the best out of them, they solicited help from some of their colleagues at MT, gained access to a closed-down air strip, devised as many ways as they could to destroy the tires, and proceeded to set about doing exactly that. Watch the grin-inducing mayhem unfold in the half-hour clip above. Related Video:
Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Chrysler recalls 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks
Sat, 09 Nov 2013Chrysler has announced that it will issue three separate recalls that will cover as many as 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks for "steering-system tie rods that may have been misaligned during assembly or steering-system service." The vast majority of these trucks were sold in the United States, though some trucks in Mexico, Canada or overseas will be called in, as well.
The largest of the three recalls covers an estimated 842,400 model-year 2003-2008 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Two smaller campaigns will bring 294,000 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, chassis cabs and 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 Mega Cabs; plus 43,500 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 4500 and 5500 4x4 chassis cabs into the dealer to be checked and repaired if necessary.
This is a very large recall, and Chrysler says it is "casting the net wider than necessary to identify those vehicles that require repair." The automaker estimates that "as many as 726,000 may not need repair."
