1940 Dodge Power Wagon 4x4 Pick up Truck

Very Rare 1/2 ton 4x4 truck believed to be the first year for 4 wheel drive. They used the civilian body style in 1940. Very desirable truck, always a featured style truck on the 4x4 club magazines covers. I have owned this truck since 1980, and it has been in storage since that time. It is rust free, primered over the original paint, no wrecks or crashes. Only has a few small dents that came from storage after being primered. All original truck except the gauges have been updated and has non original bumper. Misplaced the head light rings and the driver side window regulator. This truck ran when it was parked. Has a crank out style windshield which is a nice feature. Came from the factory with disk wheels and a factory “lift” that sits pretty high off the ground for a truck this age. (see photos) Very little effort would be needed to get it on the road and running. Just the basics: tires, brakes, belts, fluids, etc. I believe there where few made and even fewer survived. This would be a great truck to restore as the body is very straight and there is NO RUST. Please feel free to ask questions I will answer to the best of my ability. Dodge Charger to slim down and run turbo four in next generation

The current Dodge Charger is getting long in the tooth. It was originally introduced in 2005 as a 2006 model. In car terms, that's an eternity, though it's been refreshed twice. Still, FCA US will keep the LX-generation car going, reportedly facelifting it one last time for 2019. After that, there are some bigger changes in store . Automotive News is reporting that the follower to the current LX Charger will lose almost 500 pounds and will once again offer a turbo four-cylinder. You might remember the front-wheel-drive four-banger Charger of the early '80s. The recharged sedan will be twin-turbo and it's going to use the 300-horsepower four-cylinder engine currently under development for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, AN says. The target weight for the future car is around 3,500 lbs, while the current car has a curb weight of nearly 4,000 lbs. Look for it to arrive in the early 2020s. The new platform will have a touch of Italian flair instead of the Daimler-Benz flavor embedded deep inside the LX cars. It will be built on an extended version of the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia's "Giorgio" platform, according to AN. Dealers were already shown a styling-buck almost a year ago. Chrysler recalling 49K Chargers for headlight components

Chrysler has issued a recall for about 49,375 2011 and 2012 Dodge Chargers with halogen headlamps due to a problem with the lights. The automaker says that there could be an issue with the jumper harness and other related components.
The automaker says that 43,450 cars are affected in the US, 2,850 in Canada, 375 in Mexico and 2,700 outside of North America. The vehicles will have their headlight assemblies, including the jumper harnesses and bulbs, inspected and potentially replaced. Dodge says that its engineers investigated reports of that were similar to what was found when it recalled about 10,000 police Chargers in 2012 for overheating light components. There have been no injuries or accidents related to fault, according to Chrysler.
The automaker will be in contact with affected owners, and schedule the service. Naturally, any repairs will be free of charge. Scroll down for the company's full announcement.
