1973 DODGE D100 CLUB CAB ADVENTURER

I am pleased to offer this beautifully restored Dodge D100 Club Cab. This is the 133 inch wheelbase model with the 6 1/2 foot Sweptline bed. This was an entirely new venture for Dodge and they liked it so much that their truck brochure cover featured a Club Cab the very same color combo as what I am offering. The paint and body are superb. This truck has really nice body lines and being a southern vehicle it does not have any rust issues. The former owner took loving care of this Dodge and it shows. The front bumper looks new, the grill is nice, the side trim is excellent and the glass original. The windshield is free of any chips or cracks. The rear step bumper like the front also looks new. Inside the bed is very clean. The sliding back window is a nice feature. The custom wheels are very tasteful and look great on this truck. Inside looks all new with original door panels. The dash is near perfect. Please notice the factory air conditioning that is ice cold and works great. Under the hood is simply awesome. The engine features an Edlebrock manifold with a new carb. Special headers and a great sound to it. Please notice that the A/C is all there as well as the cruise control. There is even a musical horn. This truck drives great and is ready to go to a summer cruise-in or car show. As always if you have any questions simply email or call.

Chrysler's Jefferson North plant builds 5-millionth SUV [w/video]

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant opened in 1992 for production of the first Jeep Grand Cherokee, but in the subsequent years, the Detroit plant has gone on to produce some of the company's biggest SUVs including the Jeep Commander and Dodge Durango. Earlier this week, the plant produced its five-millionth SUV, which, fittingly, was a Grand Cherokee.
Celebrating the plant's five-millionth unit, the silver 2014 Grand Cherokee was promptly donated to the USO. In addition to this milestone SUV, Chrysler also had a near-perfect 1993-95 ZJ Grand Cherokee on hand for the photo op. Scroll down for the Chrysler press release as well as a video showing some of the speeches from the celebration.

Stellantis expects strike to cost it $795 million in third-quarter profits

Tue, Oct 31 2023

MILAN — Automaker Stellantis said Tuesday that the autoworkers strike in North America is expected to cost the company around 750 million euros ($795 million) in profits — less than its North American competitors. The Europe-based maker of Jeep, Fiat and Peugeot reported a 7% boost in net revenues to 45.1 billion euros, with production halts caused by the strikes costing the company 3 billion euros in sales through October. The net revenue boost was due to higher volumes in all markets except Asia. Chief Financial Officer Natalie Knight told journalists that StellantisÂ’ strike impact was lower than the other Big Three automakers due to its global profile as well as some high-profile cost-cutting measures, calculating the hit at around 750 million euros ($795 million.) GM, the last carmaker to reach a deal to end the strike, reported an $800 million strike hit. Ford has put its impact at $1.3 billion. “We continue to be in a very strong position globally and in the U.S. This is an important market for us, and weÂ’re highly profitable and we are very committed to our future," Knight said. “But mitigation is core to how we act, and how we proceed.” Stellantis has canceled appearances at the CES technology show in Las Vegas next year as well as the LA Auto Show, due to the strike impact. Stellantis on Saturday reached a tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers Union to end a six-week strike by more than 14,000 workers at its assembly plants in Michigan and Ohio, and at parts warehouses across the nation. Stellantis does not report full earnings for the third quarter, instead providing shipments and revenues. It said that global sales of electric vehicles rose by 37% over a year earlier, powered by the Jeep Avenger and commercial vehicle sales. North America continued to be the revenue leader, contributing 21.5 billion euros, an increase of 2% over last year, and representing nearly half of global revenues. Europe, the next biggest performing region, saw revenues grow 5% to 14 billion euros, as sales rose 11%. Dodge Viper GTS-R goes back to old-school livery

Fri, 20 Jun 2014

The Dodge Viper may have been around now for over 20 years, but as far as racing achievements go, 2000 was its finest season. That's when it won the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the GTS class trophy at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its second consecutive title in the American Le Mans Series.
Since then, SRT Motorsports hasn't quite had the same success, withdrawing from Le Mans this year and shedding the Dodge name and its emblematic red and white livery for the SRT badge and a silver snakeskin theme. But now that the Viper is back under the Dodge banner, so too is the racing team returning to its classic livery.
Starting from the six-hour race at Watkins Glen next week, both the No. 91 and No. 93 Viper GTS-Rs will wear the red base color with twin white racing stripes that its more accomplished forebears wore on circuits around the world. And with it, maybe the Viper will return once again to the winner's circle at home and abroad.
