1987 Ram 50 Custom 4wd 5spd Regular Cab on 2040-cars
Mexico, Missouri, United States
Up for Sale is a 1987 Dodge Ram 50 Custom 4x4 5spd truck, It has some rust but a awesome little truck, They are easy to work on and parts are plentiful and cheap whenever needs do arise. Im selling it as is, Its been used on the farm for the last few years, the license is expired and its been only driven short distances. Its probably going to need a couple tires so the buyer should plan on trailering it home, The radio doesnt power up, Im not sure if its a fuse issue or not as I haven't investigated the issue, The drivers side seat has ripped on the side, but the seat covering overall is fairly good. Im sure there are things im missing so I recommend inspecting the vehicle prior to buying, It still has the factory Carb with all the emission BS, If I was going to keep it I would swap it out with a weber carb kit and Can all the Vaccum lines. I have a Factory service manual for the truck along with some New parts that I picked up from Rock Auto prior to going a different direction, If the Truck brings a fair price I will include them Free with the truck. The Truck is located in Mexico, MO 65265 and anyone wanting to check it out can send me a message via Ebay Messaging with a contact number and ill give you a Call.. Any Questions? Title In Hand..

Ralph Gilles responds to Dodge rumors, says brand is 'here to stay'
Fri, 12 Jul 2013This is why we love Ralph Gilles. While in Italy hanging out with a group of Viper Club members in Europe, the SRT boss took the time to respond to a question directed at him on Instagram in regards to the future of Dodge.
Recent reports have painted a bleak picture for Dodge, but Gilles defended Chrysler's full-line brand by stating that the rumors are, "all rumors, Dodge is here to stay! It may get more focused going forward but not killed!" The idea of a "more focused" Dodge brand could lend some credibility to reports that the Grand Caravan and Durango are on their way out, which would leave Dodge solely as a car, or car-based, automaker.
Dodge Dart Mopar '13 special edition recalled over airbag woes
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Dodge is only building 500 examples of the black-and-blue Mopar '13 Dart, but the majority of them are now being recalled. Part of the Mopar upgrade included replacing the stock seat skins in the Dart with black and blue Katzkin leather, but the seat-mounted side airbags were reinstalled improperly during the upfitting process, which could affect the performance of the front seat side airbags.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin, a total of 374 Mopar '13 cars are being recalled due to side airbags that might not deploy in a side-impact collision. There have been no reports of the airbags not going off, but Chrysler will still need to reinstall the bags to ensure proper deployment. The recall notice is posted below, which gives information for Mopar '13 owners to contact Chrysler and NHTSA.
Watch dual-engined Dodge SRT4 do a FWD burnout, a RWD burnout, then AWD launch
Wed, Dec 3 2014There's something fantastically insane about racers who go out on their own and build something unique. Just take this crazy video from last year of a twin-engine Dodge SRT4 at a drag strip that can burn the rubber at either end – or both ends – at a moment's notice. With tires sticking out way past the fenders, a massive cooling system at the front and no back window to speak of, this Dodge is clearly meant solely for speed. Though it's real party trick is being able to spin the front or rear wheels independently. The setup makes for three quite showy burnouts. When it came time to actually get down the track, things got somewhat awkward. Like other twin-engine creations we've seen, the separate powertrains make for some odd sounds and a weird look launching down the strip. Still, there's no doubt that the engineering behind this Frankenstein is very impressive. Scroll down to see this monster in action and another of it in a very mismatched race last year.
