1985 W350 1 TON SINGLE WHEEL 4X4; 360 4 BBL, 4 SPD, DANA 60 POSI REAR AXLE, CLEAN STRAIGHT NON RUSTY TEXAS TRUCK. SILVER EXTERIOR, BLUE INTERIOR, FACTORY SUNROOF, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, AIR, DASH NOT CRAKED, REAR SLIDING WINDOW, VERY STOUT OLD DODGE. ALL THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE WORKS GREAT, AXLES, TRANSFER CASE, DRIVESHAFTS ARE ALL GOOD. I BOUGHT THE TRUCK FOR THE 340 MOTOR THAT WAS IN IT, THE TRUCK DROVE SO WELL I EVEN BOUGHT A VERY CLEAN LOW MILEAGE '85 360 4 BBL MOTOR WITH ONLY 55K MILES ON IT TO PUT BACK IN IT TO DRIVE, BUT I CAN NO LONGER WORK ON THEM. THE MOTOR IS CURRENTLY IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK UNDER PLASTIC, JUST PUT IT THERE LAST WEEK, WILL NEED A NEW CLUTCH AND CARB. ALL THE MOUNTING HARDWARE, BRACKETS, SMOG PUMP, EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, MOTOR MOUNTS, VACUUM LINES, BELTS, HOSES, PLUG WIRES, PLUGS, ARE ATTACHTED TO THE MOTOR READY TO SET IT IN AND ALL THE VACUUM LINES. THE WIRING HARNESS, A/C AND PS PUMP ARE STILL UNDER THE HOOD. THE RADIATOR, HEADERS AND REMAINING BOLTS ARE THERE AND GO ALONG WITH IT.

NHTSA investigating Ram 1500 models for rear differential failure

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and its Ram brand following a number of reports regarding the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. According to 15 consumer complaints, the trucks' rear differential locked up while in other cases, the driveshaft separated at its connection to the diff.
Nearly half of the reports claim the truck was traveling at or above 50 miles per hour, while two consumers reported that the diff lockup/driveshaft separation sent their pickups into a spin. Most troubling, though, is that consumers reported little to no sound indicating there was a problem with their truck.
We reached out to Ram for additional information, such as how many vehicles may be affected or what equipment might be fitted that could cause the issue. Unfortunately, the company wasn't willing to elaborate on specifics.

MotorWeek is bringing the automotive world a wonderful blast from the past with its latest Retro Review. Not only does the video feature the now-famous, original Dodge Viper, but this is also a chance to watch one lapping Pocono International Raceway in a test of track prowess. This segment was MotorWeek's first chance to unleash the Viper around a racecourse, and the show took advantage of the opportunity. In addition to the usual 0-60 mph and quarter-mile tests, the 400-horsepower V10 is let loose to do lap after lap. The clip offers a great dose of nostalgia and is worth a watch to remember the intense enthusiasm surrounding the Viper at the time.
