Up for auction is a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express truck. This truck needs a complete and total restoration but in my opinion is 90% there. It is a running and driving vehicle that runs really strong. The drive-train on this old truck is near perfect. Most of these trucks have issues with oil pressure where this one runs nearly 40lbs constantly. The transmission shifts at all the right points. The steering is near perfect as well as the brake system with little to no hesitation. It has the original 360 c.i motor and 727 transmission both sound great with no oil leaks or extra noises. I had the carburetor rebuilt about a year ago and installed a new fuel pump at the same time. The bad of this truck is that there are a few places with dents, dings and rust. For example the drivers side floor needs to be replaced, the rocker panels do have some rust but it is not all the way through. The inside of the cab has some surface rust from the rubber moldings not being on. It is missing the original stacks, wheels and back bumper. This truck is a factory non a/c truck with a sliding rear glass, black leather seats with the center console. It is the true definition of a factory muscle truck! Travis Pastrana signs with Dodge for another year, brings partner Bryce Menzies [w/video]
Sun, 14 Apr 2013Dodge and SRT Motorsports announced that the Dodge Dart will be returning for its sophomore season of the Global Rallycross Championship with a two-car team fielded by Pastrana Racing. Travis Pastrana drove his GRC Dart to victory lane in the fourth race of the car's inaugural season, and his race team is looking for even more success with the addition of off-road racer Bryce Menzies behind the wheel of the second car.

Is Mopar readying a special-edition Dart for Chicago?
Sat, 26 Jan 2013Chrysler has released the above teaser of a limited-edition Mopar 2013 model that will be unveiled at next month's Chicago Auto Show. Although the automaker doesn't announce what vehicle will get the Mopar treatment, closer investigation of the seats and center console suggest that this car will be a special version of the 2013 Dodge Dart.
This will be the fourth Mopar model in as many years, following on the heels of the Mopar 2010 Challenger, Mopar 2011 Charger and the Mopar '2012 300. There are no details for the Mopar '13 Dart, but we do see that the car will retain the signature black-and-blue color scheme as past Mopar editions. Like these previous models, we expect production of Mopar '13 Dart to be limited to just 500 units.

Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
