Up for auction is a very rare Dodge Adventurer Warlock D100 Pickup. These D13 pickups were built by Chrysler as "Adult Toys" The concept being toys built to be enjoyed by adults. This particular pickup was built in Canada 9/77 and was sold in 1978. It has been here in sunny Arizona since 1980. There are a few small rusted areas that will be need to addressed in the future. This vehicle is nearly all original, the only items that I can find that are not original are the steering wheel, and that original seat was recovered some time in the past.
this truck would make a GREAT starting point for a project, or fix the few small things and enjoy as it is!
brand new battery
rebuilt carburetor
original 15x10" rims
power brakes
vented discs up front
original glass
appears to have been repainted sometime in the past, in the original Black Metallic. The interior appears to be factory paint.
the truck currently has a 4 speed shifter on the floor, it is possible it was swapped from a column shifted transmission in the past.
original oak boards for the bed sides are decent to good condition, and also the wedges that hold them in tightly.
original 318 V8
numbers matching truck
equipped with Air conditioning, Power Steering and Power Brakes from the factory
recent tune up
starts, runs, stops, and drives great with no creaks or rattles
the following items will need to be addressed sometime in the future:
the tires have decent tread, but are starting to show their age and starting to crack
there are two small areas of the passenger floor boards that are rusted through.
passenger side taillight lens is faded and missing a small piece.
there is also small patch approximately 1.5"x3" of rust under the paint in the step area on the passenger side of the truck
wood in the bed near the tailgate is showing its age
the seat has been recovered in the past, and will need to be redone again
both the front and rear bumpers have been tweeked
there is a small dent on the front drivers side fender, a paintless dent removal pro could likely pop it out.
the handles on the door panels need some TLC
dash is cracked

Does the future of Fiat-Chrysler include Dodge?
Thu, 13 Jun 2013Wards Auto reports the future of Dodge is looking uncertain. Fiat has more or less laid out it's game plan for the next few years, and while the Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep lines are set to receive plenty of love, Dodge isn't so lucky. Fiat has already hobbled Dodge significantly by splitting off the brand's trucks into a separate Ram line.
Wards says that after the Avenger rides off into the sunset early next year, Fiat-Chrysler won't replace the model, leaving a gaping midsize hole in the Dodge lineup. The report also cites unnamed sources as saying that at least two other current Dodge products will move to the Chrysler line.
One of those could very well be the Grand Caravan. Chrysler has already made it clear that it plans to trim redundancy between its minivan offerings, but it has yet to clarify which other vehicle could sail under the Chrysler banner moving forward. Either way, such changes to the product line would theoretically leave Dodge with just four models.
Aficionauto drives Vin Diesel's fast and furious 1970 Dodge Charger
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.
1 Of 1 Dodge Viper looks a fabulous mess in Chicago
Fri, Feb 13 2015Earlier this year, we told you about the new Dodge Viper 1 Of 1 program, which offers buyers the chance to customize their supercars to the tune of some 25 million different combinations. With 8,000 paint colors, 24,000 hand-painted stripe patterns, 10 wheel options, and 16 interior trims to choose from, you'd be right to think that the possibilities for personalization are endless, and can probably get a little weird. That's kind of what's going on here in Chicago, with a Viper showcar that's definitely... unique. It doesn't really look bad, necessarily. It's just kind of strange. We call this color job, "Oh no, there are tiny paint cans falling from the sky, but I simply can't stop driving 200 miles per hour." And when it came time to spec wheels, it looks like FCA US said, "Aw heck, let's just use all of 'em." You'll definitely want to take a look at this unique creation, in the gallery above. And be sure to let us know if you think this Viper is hot or not, in Comments. Related Video:
