1972 Dodge 1 ton dually .....in very good condition......I believe this truck has 4xxx original miles (not 40xxx or 140xxx)and it was a parks truck in Oklahoma.....the seat, gas pedal, brake pedal floor mat shows no signs of wear and the odometer shows 4xxx miles.....the doors open and close like a new truck.
The truck has almost no rust.....it had the original Oklahoma title when I bought it.....There is some rust at the bottom of the drivers side fender.....and the rest of the truck is pretty much rust free......this is the most solid 1972 unrestored Dodge truck I have seen...theres no bondo in the truck and the truck has the original paint.
The 400 cubic inch engine runs strong ....no noises or smoke...It does hesitate on exceleration....the truck has been sitting for a while....it probably needs a carb kit and tune up.The truck has powersteering and drives great....the automatic transmission shifts great......All the lights and gauges work. If you wanted to give this truck a tune-up to drive it home....you would be more then welcome to do it at my place....I think with a tune-up you could drive the truck anywhere. Tires look good and the brakes work good. The truck will need some exhaust work (very simple exhaust)
The interior of the truck is very nice ....with the exception of the glove box door and the dash pad....the dash pad is missing and the glove box door is cracked.....I found a dash pad locally and I have a glove box door.....they are both blue....so I was going to get some paint for plastic and try to match the colors.
This is one of the nicest 1972 Dodge trucks I have seen....I will post the VIN number this weekend....I keep the truck at my house in the country and don't have the VIN in front of me.
I will help with a shipper as long as you pay for it....and you can store the truck here for 30 days(maybe longer if needed)..I require a $300.00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.
Please ask questions....I will give honest answers.....and I will get any more pictures you need.
Thankyou for looking! THE VIN IS POSTED!

Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats
Thu, 02 Jan 2014It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.
2013 Dodge Dart gets brace of new special edition models
Thu, 16 May 2013After almost a year on the market it, it is becoming more clear to Dodge how customers like to option out their Darts, so the automaker has combined popular features into three special edition packages and sweetened the prices. Start with a standard 2013 Dart and add either the SXT or Limited "Special Editions" or Rallye Appearance Group, and you'll save yourself a lot of box checking.
The $595 Dart SXT Special Edition takes the trim just above the base model and adds a new grille, dark-tinted headlights and projector fog lights, LED racetrack taillights, cruise control and audio controls on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Limited Special Edition starts with the top-end model and adds a power sunroof, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and Nappa leather seats among other features, for $1,810.
The Rallye Appearance Group (pictured) is a package for the SXT, and it blacks out the front fascia, throws on 17-inch wheels and some badging for $395. The new special editions are reaching dealers now and could help the Dart's sales to further improve after a slow start. You can find out more about them in the press release below.
MotorWeek remembers a better time for Mitsubishi performance
Fri, Feb 26 2016Dodge still knows how to create an capable performance car – look at the Hellcats, for example – but the same isn't true for Mitsubishi. With the Lancer Evo's demise, we don't expect driving enthusiasts to clamor for any of the Japanese automaker's other products. Things used to be different, though. As MotorWeek found in its new Retro Review, the 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and its sibling, the Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo, were impressive sports coupes in their day. Dodge and Mitsubishi packed a bevy of cutting-edge tech into the coupes. In these trims, both sported all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, an adjustable suspension, active exhaust, and automatic climate control. The 3000GT VR4 upped the ante even more with active aero parts at the front and rear. Their 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 was good for 300 horsepower and 307 pound-feet, which were good numbers at the time. This pair put all their gizmos to good use, too. MotorWeek compares the all-wheel-drive system's grip levels to a Porsche 911 Carrera 4. When was the last time you heard any favorable similarity between a Mitsubishi and a Porsche? The Stealth R/T Turbo and 3000GT VR4 came from a special time for Japanese sports coupes, when every brand had a halo model. Whether you were looking at Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7, Toyota Supra, or even the Acura NSX, there was a lot to like on the market. MotorWeek's latest Retro Review offers a great reminder of that period.
