Up for auction is a awesome 1965 Dodge W200 4x4 Power Wagon that has a 383 Big Block, and a 4 speed trans. This is a short bed truck that is a running, driving project truck. The truck starts right up and runs excellent. No knocking or smoking, and she idles great. The engine is a 1969 383 that was rebuilt by the previous owner. The engine has a new Edelbrock 600 cfm carb on her, new distributor, wires, and plugs. The trans has a new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. The truck has a Dana 60 rear end with 4:10 gears, and the front axle is a Dana 44. The transfer case works just fine, and she goes right into 4 wheel drive without any issues. The truck has some surface rust here and there but, nothing major at all. The underside of the truck looks awesome, and the frame rails are straight, and overall she is in great shape. The truck bed looks great, and the tail gate is in great shape with no visible rust issues. The truck has a new radiator, upper and lower hoses, and she runs nice and cool in the Vegas heat.
The trucks body is very straight, with no rust! The doors open and close very well, the windows roll up and down like they should. The lights work on the truck, the blinkers work, and all the gauges work also. The heater is not connected at this time, and the horn does not work either. The truck has sat for a while, and before any long trips it should get a good once over. The tires are 33's, they are a few years old but have a lot of tread on them. One tire has a flat spot in it from it going low and sitting for a while. This truck is a running driving project truck that is in very good condition.
INFO: The truck is being sold " AS IS " due to it's age and condition. The truck is a Daily Driver/ PROJECT type truck. The winning bidder will be required to pay a $1000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of winning the truck. The deposit must be paid through Paypal. The remaining balance is due within 3 days of the auction closing, and that balance can be paid with a cashiers check, bank check, wire transfer or cash in person.

Dodge Durango to stay classy with Ron Burgundy as spokesperson [w/video]
Sat, 05 Oct 2013The upcoming 2014 Dodge Durango has a lot of things going for it, including its 290-horsepower V6 and 360-hp Hemi V8 engine options, an eight-speed automatic and aggressive looks. And now it will have Ron Burgundy, the fictional television news anchor played by comedian Will Ferrell, as a spokesperson, Adweek reports. He follows in the footsteps of other non-fictional Chrysler brand spokespeople such as Eminem, Clint Eastwood and the late Paul Harvey.
Though the star of 2004's Anchorman and the upcoming Anchorman 2 is wildly popular, we're not sure we see a Dodge spokesperson in Burgundy. (Please, no womanizing or scotchy, scotch, scotch before test test drives). But at this point there's no turning back: Chrysler's chief marketing officer Olivier Francois previewed three ad spots at the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Masters of Marketing conference in Phoenix on Friday, and says Chrysler has already filmed 68(!) Durango ads with the fictional newsman.
According to Adweek, one of the ads previewed had Burgundy highlighting the SUV's glovebox size, and in another he compared its horsepower to a white horse standing next to him. Will this help Dodge Durango sales improve? We can only wait and see. In the meantime, feel free to share your thoughts in Comments, and check out the trailer for Anchorman 2 below.
Dodge not being dropped by Chrysler, CEO reaffirms
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Dodge isn't going anywhere. Despite some rumor and speculation over the future of the crosshair grille and the cars that wear it, Dodge brand boss, Tim Kuniskis, sat down with TheDetroitBureau.com, explaining that the marque isn't going anywhere. His sentiments echo those of SRT boss Ralph Gilles, who told a group of enthusiasts in July that "Dodge is here to stay!"
Dodge's death won't be "a part of a master plan to consolidate brands," Kuniskis told TheDetroitBureau.com. Instead, the brand, which is ultimately under the command of Fiat/Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will likely ditch some of its badge-engineered models, like the Dodge Grand Caravan. A more focused Dodge, which was something Gilles has already hinted at, will likely see it exploring areas of the market that haven't been exploited by other Chrysler brands.
Kuniskis, not surprisingly, wasn't willing to delve into any detailed product plans, telling TDB that the size of the brand's lineup "remains to be seen." Regardless of how big the brand actually ends up being (it is presently Chrysler's volume brand - and not by a little), hopefully the statements from Kuniskiss can put the rumors of a Dodge closure to bed.
Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.
We'll know more when the Mopar '14 Challenger is revealed at the SEMA show in early November. In the meantime, click the image above to check out the teaser in high resolution, and have a look below for Chrysler's official press blast.
