Restored 1941 dodge half ton truck running and driving chassis
This chassis has been rebuilt from the ground up with no expense spared.
The restoration started by stripping down every nut and bolt then stripping the chassis of all surface rust and paint. The chassis was then repainted followed by all new original suspension, every bearing and bushing has been replaced with new old stock, all the brake shoes are new along with all the brake springs and adjusters. All brake hydraulic cylinders are new along with a new master cylinder, drums were turned to correct specs, all brake lines are new and also brake hoses and clips.
The original 6cyl motor is completely redone you can hear it run. After the machine work, new rings, pistons, valves, valves guides and seals, runs great, all the engine accessories are were rebuilt including the carb, starter, generator, fuel pump, and water pump. Even the original radiator has been redone and is in perfect condition.
Original Transmission is also rebuilt with all new bearings and seals as well as a new clutch and machined flywheel and pressure plate. The same for the differential all new bearings and seals.
To top it of it even has all new firestone tires with new tubes that are mounted and balanced including the spare.
This is a running chassis I have driven it about 2 miles and it runs and stops perfect. I have decided to take my project truck in a different direction and am building a different frame, my loss is definitely your gain.
I have been told this frame fits 39-47 I don't know for sure so check. I do need to keep the running board supports so those will be removed.
I have set the reserve for only a fraction of the nearly $10k that I have in this frame and drive line.
Any questions don't hesitate to ask include a phone number if you would like a call back, and if your close you are welcome to come by and hear it run.

Dodge offering novel 1-year lease on '14 Challenger and Charger models
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Dodge is just days away from unveiling refreshed versions of the Charger and Challenger at the 2014 New York Auto Show, models promising updated styling and new powertrain options. Depending on how you look at it, the company is either so confident in its forthcoming 2015 models that it's offering an interesting Double-Up lease deal on the current vehicles, or it's so eager to clear out existing stock that it's resorting to novel lease deals. In any case, what they present is an interesting scenario, one which allows buyers to get the existing model right now, and then trade up to the facelifted 2015 models in one year.
Starting April 17, when the refreshed cars debut through the end of August, buyers can lease a 2014 Charger or Challenger for one year and exchange it for a three-year lease on a 2015 model next year, with no additional money down and the same monthly payment. Customers can even switch vehicles when the new lease starts. If drivers want to buy the '15, they get $1,000 off the purchase price. To be eligible, both leases must use the same dealership and be financed through Chrysler Capital. The Double-Up deal excludes the SRT versions of both cars and Charger SE models.
To offset the flood of one-year-old models coming back to dealerships, Dodge has struck a deal with rental car agency Enterprise, which has agreed to buy them all. "One-year leases are highly unusual in the industry," said company spokesperson Ralph Kisiel, and the fleet sale deal is what makes it possible.

Dodge Dart Registry helps you crowdsource money for your next ride [w/video]
Wed, 23 Jan 2013To be honest, we're surprised something like this didn't pop up sooner. Chrysler is riffing on gift registries for couples getting married or expecting babies and cross-pollinating it with a social media funding website like Kickstarter to help customers buy its 2013 Dodge Dart. The Dodge Dart Registry allows people to build and customize a new Dart exactly how they want it, then let other people purchase some or all of the components as gifts.
The registry lets you add features like dark headlights, dual exhaust, various wheels and even interior options without choosing a specific trim level. This sounds a lot like the system Scion uses to let its customers configure cars, and this could be a great idea for Dodge. Of course, this system has the added benefit of being a social media affair for you to share with your friends... you know, so they can help pay for some of the parts, too.
The best thing about the registry is that you can configure your dream Dart from the comfort of your home computer, which strikes us as much better than walking around Bed, Bath and Beyond for the better part of an afternoon with an electronic scanner. The one thing that Dodge doesn't offer? "Thank You" cards. Those are on you.
