1999 Dodge Intrepid 6cyl 2.7 Automatic 148k Cd Player on 2040-cars
Mullica Hill, New Jersey, United States
Hello, up for sale is a 1999 Dodge Intepid. 148K miles. 6 CYL. 2.7 automatic. white exterior. grey cloth interior. interior is in good condition. starts rite up every time. shifts smooth! trans and engine run nice, it just needs a few small things...please read.....it has always been kept clean inside and out. never let brake dust build up on wheels or let inside get dirty. always well maintained. door jams always wiped down and kept clean. brakes and rotors in good condition at half life still left. maintained by a real car guy that takes care of his things. The lady who owned it before me had 2 kids and always babied it thats why it's lasted so long. It has a Sony CD Player. Its all wired professionally for Sub/Amp to be hooked rite up in the trunk. The tint is on all 4 side windows and the back window also. Its 5% Limo. It was $300 and I had it done a few month's ago. You cant see in, its because i've had cd players & amp's stolen from other vehicles and since i've used the tint its never happened since and now i put it on every car i have. Went rite through inspection, they don't check for tint anymore, although i don't believe their too fond of it. I have nothing to hide so it doesn't bother me ever. It also really helps me on sunny sunny days when your in traffic sitting there or passing a bunch of trees where you get that constant flashing effect. Some people say it looks like a detectives car. All i did was tint it and take the flimsy hub caps off.( that are in the trunk) I think it looks clean. I've always changed the oil every 3K and this is the kind of car you have to add a quart halfway through every 1500. Not a lot of people do that. that's why mines lasted. Has power windows. (3 of 4 work, i back window wont go up or down recently) Now im honest so i have to tell you, it needs 2 real things. It needs new tires and it needs a water pump. The tires are pretty beat and its starting to run a little hot at times if your in traffic and starting to leak some antifreeze. i have to add antifreeze every 2 weeks approx so i know the water pump is going bad. It dosent like the city. Its defiantly a highway car rite now to keep it cooler. it happens to be winter so it doesn't effect it too much rite now with the cold cold air. If it had a new water pump it would be good to go. And it seems to chew the front right tire up quicker then any others so it mite need an alignment. I just rotate the tires every 3 or 4 months and it seems to wear evenly. The hood has some scratches and it has a few dings here & there but nothing major. Its super comfortable. It idles nice. Its great on gas! $20 bucks gets you a long way! It just needs someone who knows about cars or can have someone fix it up a little to have it 100%. It would be a great first car. Its safe for someone. Its big enough that if anything ever happened most other cars these days would loose. You can easily hold 4 people in there. It has massive trunk space. It looks sporty. It doesn't have any check engine lights or anything like that on. It runs smooth it really just needs a water pump. Feels like your sitting on the couch at home when your driving it. All receipts for work done to car here and there kept. Clean title in hand. I cant think of anything else. Being Sold As-Is. Any other questions please ask. Thank you. 856-981-7388

2013 Dodge Durango R/T
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Not too long ago, Chevrolet got itself into some trouble by throwing the SS badge on just about everything it produced, so I've always been a little hesitant about the seemingly excessive use of the R/T nameplate on Dodge vehicles. For the 2013 model year, every model in Dodge's lineup has an R/T trim level from Dart all the way up to the Durango. Although the R/T name used to signified models made for road and track, I doubt anyone would be delusional enough to assume the Durango - and some of the other models wearing this badge - are suited for any sort of track duty.
Still, when this 2013 Dodge Durango R/T rolled up for me to drive for the week, I couldn't help but take in its big, mean and imposing stance. Sure, if I had my choice of buying any of the Dodge R/T products, the Charger and Challenger would be my top picks for sure, but it's easy to say that the Durango would be a close third - far above the R/T versions of the Avenger, Journey and Grand Caravan.

Will Dodge limit 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat to 1,200 units?
Sun, 20 Jul 2014With over 700 horsepower on tap and a price tag barely over $60k, Dodge appears on paper to have a winner on its hands with the new Challenger SRT Hellcat. But if you want to get your hands on one, you may have to act quicker than this most powerful of muscle cars covers the quarter-mile.
That's because, according to our compatriots over at Edmunds, Dodge may limit production - in the first year, at least - to just 1,200 units. That would amount to barely a quarter of the Challengers that Dodge moves each month, and would also mean only one Hellcat for every two Dodge dealers in the US - which could lead to some serious contention over which stores and which customers can get their hands on the ultimate Challenger.
Reached for comment, SRT spokesman Dan Reid told Autoblog that "there is no plan to limit production of the Challenger Hellcat," echoing the words of Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis who told Edmunds: "We don't know what the market demand is." Which doesn't mean that it won't restrict production, but doesn't mean that it will, either. It just hasn't decided yet - or announced any such decision, at any rate - over what will be the final allocation strategy for what could be a game-changing muscle car. That is, at least, until new versions of the Mustang and Camaro come along in pursuit of Dodge's bragging rights...
2016 Dodge Viper ACR racks up lap records
Thu, Nov 5 2015With 645 horsepower and an adjustable spoiler nearly six feet wide, the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR would look at home on the runways of most any airport, air base, or aircraft carrier in the world. But it's not built for the runway. It's built for the race track. And it has positively mastered them one after another. In fact, the new Viper ACR has not only beat the lap times of its own predecessor as it set out to, but took the production-car lap record at 13 tracks across the country. The endeavor started out at the Inde Motorsport Ranch in Arizona, where development engineer Chris "The Wolf" Winkler set a lap time of 1:33.75 on the Configuration 4 track to beat every other street-legal vehicle to ever lap the circuit. Then it was off to Buttonwillow, the MotorSport Ranch (in Cresson, TX), Big Willow, VIR, Grattan, Pittsburg, GingerMan, the Motown Mile, Nelson Ledges, Waterford Hills, and Road Atlanta. And with the new American Club Racer, Dodge took the lap record at each and every one. The journey culminated just days ago at Laguna Seca, where track expert Randy Pobst climbed into the Viper ACR and set a lap time of 1:28.65. That's 5.27 seconds faster than the previous ACR's time, and 1.24 seconds faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder that held the record until now. The sum total is a bragging-rights sheet of lap records set at 13 tracks across these United States. And you don't have to take Dodge's word on that. The records have been certified by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), cementing the ACR's place in the record books. Nice work if you can get it, and you can scope it out in the video above and press release below.
