Dodge Grand Caravan 2001 on 2040-cars
West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States
Dodge Grand Caravan Sports 2001. It has been used mainly for long trip family vacations. Selling because we upgraded to a modern minivan. It has a clean title.
This is a reliable 7-passenger car, with a price below KBB suggested price. I will not consider offers below dealers trade-in price.
This car is inspected until July 2015!
The engine works ok and it has a smooth transmission. There is an engine light on (evaporation related if I remember correctly).
All the electrical parts work ok: power windows, power door lock, radio. The only exception is the DVD player (not working). If you take the rear seats (these are easily removable), you have a nice cargo space.
The AC of this car is really cold. Front tires have more than 50% of life, the rear tires have more than 75% of life
It has 172K miles and some rust under the body in front of the rear tires. Please see pictures.
This car has been properly maintained with regular oil changes and many parts replaced during the years. The front headlights were replaced for cosmetic reasons. Oil was changed during PA inspection
I encourage you to see and test the car before bidding. Please send me text message with any questions and/or offer to 610-203-22 five 4, or send me an email via ebay. Either way is ok for me

Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles recalls nearly 750k vehicles in two campaigns
Thu, 16 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling a total of 747,817 vehicles in the US in two separate campaigns recently added to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration database.
The first one covers about 434,581 units of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Challenger, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee from the 2011-2014 model years with electric hydraulic power steering, the 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 160 amp alternator, according to FCA. In the affected vehicles, it's possible for the alternator to fail without warning and possibly cause the car to stall. According to the documentation submitted to NHTSA, the automaker began investigating the problem in August 2014 and has found possible evidence of one crash caused by the failures but no known injuries.
Customers will begin receiving notification about the recall next month, and obviously the repairs will be done at no cost to them.
