1998 Dodge Grand Caravan Se Mini Passenger Van 4-door 3.8l on 2040-cars
Stevens, Pennsylvania, United States
this van has the 3.8 liter engine. it only has 90k miles. engine has had head gasket changed head shaved valves and lifters were also replaced with brand new oem parts at 80k. tires are are still good brakes are good front calipers and brakes lines were replaced. body is in good shape considering the age of the vehicle. the only bad things are as follows. vehicle has a RECONSTRUCTED TITLE. i bought it from a salvage auction wrecked and had it repaired. damage was minor. no frame engine or transmission damage. i had to replace right fender headlight suspension and bumper. vehicle had 43k when bought and has had no issues till now. the transmission pump has gone bad. Vehicle starts runs and drives. it just takes some time for the transmission to build pressure. you can either swap out the tranny or replace the pump or use for parts also the drivers side window motor needs replaced and the winshield wipers dont function properly. sometimes they wont turn on sometimes they wont turn off. this is a very low mileage van for the year and would make a great work or family vehicle with a little work. Sold as is.

Brits recreate iconic Bullitt chase scene
Tue, 13 May 2014Recreating the famous chase scene from Bullitt has become almost an art form in its own right. We've seen it done in a music video, with scale models and even in commercials. There are few films that are as defined by a single scene as the 1968 classic. Even if you don't know a single beat of the plot, the Highland Green Ford Mustang racing a Dodge Charger through the hilly streets of San Francisco is famous. It's so well known that the Silverstone Classic has created a homage to promote its celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang at this year's event in July.
Filmed around the famous UK circuit, the short film generally gets the key points of the scene right. It even has a green Volkswagen Beetle that keeps reappearing, as in the movie. Unfortunately, its Steve McQueen stand-in looks a little too old for the role. While the video shortens the chase considerably, it's still great to see these '60s behemoths leaning and sliding around the track. Scroll down for a touch of nostalgia thanks to one of the greatest scenes ever in cinema - we've got both the recreation and the original chase seen from the movie waiting for you.

Fiat Chrysler CEO says final merger talks with Peugeot going well
Thu, Jan 23 2020BRUSSELS — Fiat Chrysler's chief executive Michael Manley said on Wednesday that merger talks with Peugeot owner PSA to create the world's No. 4 carmaker are progressing well and he hopes to have a deal within 12-14 months. Speaking to Reuters on the sidelines of an industry meeting, he said he doesn't expect any major obstacles that could delay a final agreement. "Talks are progressing really well," Manley said about negotiations with the French carmaker ahead of a briefing by the European automotive association (ACEA), of which he is president. His comments come a month after the two carmakers agreed to a binding deal worth about $50 billion to combine forces in response to a slowdown in global demand and mounting costs of making cleaner vehicles amid tighter emissions regulations. Manley's timeline for completing the deal by early 2021 is in line with a forecast made by the companies in December. Fiat and Peugeot are now getting into the details of how the merger will work, including choosing which vehicle platforms — the technological underpinnings of a vehicle — will fit which products in a combined company. Because customers in different locations still prefer vastly different cars, there is room for multiple platforms in a combined group, Manley said. "That global platform is an elusive beast," he added. "This concept of a massive global platform in my mind is almost a myth, but that doesnÂ’t mean to say weÂ’re not going to recruit significant volume." Related Video:  Â
