Up For Sale is My 1998 Dodge Durango SLT
I am going to explain everything I can to give the best description of the truck
It is 15 years old and in areas that shows but it runs and gets me where i need to go without fail
It has the 5.9 litre 360 cubic inch motor with 4 speed automatic transmission, the transmission is smooth and when you get on it it shifts like it should, nice positive and firm shifts
Leather interior with stress tear in lower corner of drivers seat, All interior is very nice
It has a cd/cassette player which is a factory unit , I never use it because it sounds terrible.
Air Conditioning in front and rear zone Climate Center work as intended.
Truck is very good in the snow, it rips thru everything. The rear tires have 3000 miles on them they are
in perfect condition, They are Wild Trac 31x10.5x15
The front tires are Cooper Trac Terrain 31x10.5.15 and will need replacement withing 1500 miles.
The front wheel hub bearings are worn and whine on slow quiet roads, they need replacement the parts are 300.00 total
The paint has corrosion that has bubble the black paint in 3 specific areas, above the left front fender wheel opening, on the tail gate door and below the driver side door
The paint also has areas on it that are scratched , there are also small dents on the tail gate door and rear cab, but these are dents the size of dime in diameter
It is not a perfect truck, but i dont have any issue with driving it around , its nothing that will be laughed at, it just isnt perfect, Its my old work truck and it has seen time in the woods as well
Any further questions of any type please ask me, I am straight forward and will not bullshit you about it
lastly this truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel this auction if it sells locally, I will not ship it, I am only selling my work truck and want to keep it simple and upfront as possible
Thank You

Watch this Dodge Viper get clawed to death
Tue, 07 Jan 2014There's a scene in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where Daniel Craig's Agent 007 is captured by villain Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Le Chiffre tortures Bond in a scene that is rather difficult to watch (especially for blokes) and impossible to describe on these digital pages (Google at your own risk). This video is the automotive equivalent of the Casino Royale torture scene.
It shows a Dodge Viper - a late, first-generation GTS judging by the center-exit exhausts - getting assaulted by a giant piece of heavy equipment. The large claw shows no mercy on the V10-powered sports car, rending its muscular curves into pieces and then running it over, just for good measure. It's a painful video to watch (and hear!), made worse because we don't know what the Viper did to deserve such a fate. About a third of the way through the video, the cameraman indicates that the man with the claw is a new operator from Chrysler, and it appears there may be some fire damage, but beyond that, we don't have much to go on.
Scroll down for the video but be warned, it isn't for the faint of heart.
This or That: 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 vs. 2005 Subaru WRX STI [w/poll]
Thu, May 7 2015Some cars, due to ultimate desirability, particular rareness, or spectacular performance/prestige eventually become collectible. It's darn near impossible to know which ones will make it into the rarefied stratosphere of collectibility – why is a late 1960s AMC AMX so affordable these days, whereas prices for late '70s Pontiac Trans Ams are soaring? – but there are some useful indicators to keep tabs on. We're not exactly experts on investing, but we do know cars. As such, we've decided to take our non-expertise on one hand, combine it in the other with our knowledge of all things automotive, wad it up, throw it out and ask for your forgiveness. Or something like that. I've challenged Senior Editor Seyth Miersma to choose a car he thinks will become a future collector's item that's not more than 10 years old, and for no more than $25,000. I've done the same, and we vigorously argued for and against each other's picks. I feel good about my choice, but I don't have the best track record in these contests (I've lost three times, won twice, but they've all been pretty close), so, while I'm not going to beg (please vote for me!), I do hope you find my argument convincing. But first, let's hear from Seyth: Miersma: Ten-years old or newer makes this challenging. At that age most vehicles feel like a plain old used car to me, few hit the "classic" button. But the Subaru WRX STI has always been a special car, and the 2005 cutoff year proves to be very attractive for the parameters of our contest. It's rare; with fewer than 5,000 STI models sold that model year. It's probably the best looking WRX STI ever sold in America; narrowly avoiding the dreadful "horse collar" front fascia. And it's got one of the more die-hard car-geek followings out there. For $25,000, you can also still find examples that have reasonable miles, are in good condition, and haven't all been molested by grown-up Initial D wannabes. With the street racers hacking up collectable examples every day, I like my odds for steep appreciation by way of conservation. I couldn't agree more. It really is difficult to predict what cars will catch the eye of collectors, and the WRX STI seems like a pretty good choice. But I think mine is even better, and I can't let him know that I'd love to park just such an STI in my very own garage. And so goes my argument: Korzeniewski: I like your choice as a driver, Seyth. I'm less convinced of its status as a sure-fire collectible.
Stormtrooper Dodge Charger Episode IV: A New Soap
Fri, Dec 18 2015We spent a day with a Dodge Charger that looks like a Stormtrooper helmet and made a few videos. In this one, the Charger meets the car wash. May the force be with the dryer. Read about the car and watch the rest of the videos here.
