Originally a 273 Engine.
It now as 1972 400 engine out of a New Yorker, 400 short block has 60,000 miles on it, windage tray, reconditioned heads, valve job and cut .060, rebuilt tork converter 2000-2500 stall. Rebuilt 727 trans manual valve body all have 10 miles on them. Has an 8.75 rear end with 2.76 gear sure grip, new 10 inch brake drums all around and new front wheel bearings and lines. New 2 bolt master cylinder, air shocks, rally wheels, tires good but old. New wiper motor, electric fuel pump, new fuel lines, new 750 edelbrock carburetor, new schumacher headers, electronic ignition, battery in trunk, Stuart Warner gages. Tack, sway bar, new tie rods, (the big ones), needs alignment. I had the Dart since 1989 and I put over $6,000 in it. It has been in a pole barn for the last 20 years on jack stands. The framework is in great to excellent condition, body good but needs work, interior fair, bucket seats. |

Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn
Fri, Mar 27 2015We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
