I have up for sale a 1970 Dodge Dart. It is an automatic transmission and it has a 440 cubic inch engine. the engine is a 440 not the 340 that the listing says. ebay only gives certain engines I have to pick from but it is a 440. the car runs and drives great, it sounds awesome. the wheels and tires are very close to new. it has a new radiator, transmission cooler, carb is new. the headers and exhaust are almost new. it has posi traction. the body and frame are in very good condition. the body is rust free. It has many new gauges. the motor has 50,000 miles on it.  this would make someone a very nice car. There are a couple pieces of chrome trim missing around the windows.some of the original gauges stopped working but were replaced with aftermarket ones. this car is ready to drive. It must be paid for with cash or a check if you want it shipped. Car will not be shipped until check clears at bank. If you have any questions let me know. thanks.
also i have included the following link to 2 videos of the car running and moving etc click on link and download if you want to view them thanks...car sounds way better and louder in person :)

SRT reveals Satin Vapor Edition 300, Charger and Challenger SRT models

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

With the exception of some notable truck and van introductions, Chrysler brands have tended to use the Chicago Auto Show to bring out new special editions, pimp their aftermarket parts support or indulge in the occasional flight of fancy. That plan is holding true for 2014, as well. Cases in point are these new Satin Vapor Editions of the 2014-model-year Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 - all from SRT.
The Satin Vapor name may sound like a failed 1970s glam-rock band, or a pseudo-gynecological diagnosis from the Old West, but is, in fact, pretty much a tape-and-trim package for this trio of hi-po Mopars. 300, Challenger and Charger alike come shod with 20-inch aluminum wheels finished in Black Satin Vapor Chrome, and are accented with Satin Black bits aplenty. The 300 gets blacked-out mirrors, spoiler and roof; the Challenger applies it to mirrors and its fuel door; while the Charger has the stuff covering its roof, hood and Super Bee tail graphic.
Interiors of the cars have been mildly updated as well, with all three getting some combination of Nappa leather, ultra-suede and carbon-fiberish finishes.

How to turn a Dodge airport tug into a trail slayer

Sun, 16 Nov 2014

Sometimes, having a ton of fun requires takes a ton of work. Just nine days before the so-called Ultimate Adventure 2014, the folks behind 4-Wheel & Off-Road had 40 tasks to complete in order to turn the ratty truck pictured above into a machine that could excel on treacherous off-road trails while still being able to handle highway jaunts. Much of process behind the build was chronicled on the latest episode of Dirt Every Day.
The team's vehicle started life as a 1990 Dodge tug truck that spent part of its life hauling around airplanes. The builders hung on to the Cummins six-cylinder diesel, but they tossed out practically everything else for the project, with some seriously heavy-duty replacement parts for the transmission, transfer case, axles and a whole lot more. The process was certainly a ton of work, but the end result looks like a fantastic crawler.
Sure, it might have been easier to bring a truck that was already prepared, but where would the fun in that have been? Stay tuned until the end of the video for a few glimpses of the completed Dodge and peek at some of the punishment it goes through.

Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.
