The engine & trans. are gone also one front cap for one fender is gone, otherwise complete."

Here you go.....NO RESERVE!!!!!!       This car is complete minus one front fender end cap & the slant 6 & auto. trans.. I removed the front seat for pictures & it is reinstalled now, the car rolls & has tires that hold air. It is definitely too solid & complete to part out!  The trunk floor is all original paint & totally rust free!! The floorpans are very solid except for the forward part of each front pan (see pictures). The framerails are very solid except for one spot at the back of the left front rail that will need an easy repair. The grill is in great shape & the headlight bezels are nice also & are in the trunk. All 4 black interior side panels are very nice as is the back seat & headliner. The decklid & doors are in great shape & the front fenders have a little filler in the dogleg behind each front tire but are definitely usable. It will need both rear 1/4 panels. Very solid behind the rear window.  This would be a great, complete starting point for a prostreet, street car, clone, drag car or whatever???  I'm right off I-80 in Lincoln Nebraska & would be glad to help arrange shipping &/or may be able to haul it myself. Feel free to call with any questions. I hope someone buys this so I don't have to part it out.   Paul 402-202-2263   Did I say.......NO RESERVE!!!!

Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.
We'll know more when the Mopar '14 Challenger is revealed at the SEMA show in early November. In the meantime, click the image above to check out the teaser in high resolution, and have a look below for Chrysler's official press blast.

2013 Dodge Dart gets all Moparized

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

Last year, Chrysler announced it would be offering more than 150 Mopar parts and accessories on the 2013 Dodge Dart, and we got a look at some of these parts firsthand at the Chicago Auto Show. Showing off all the optional parts at once would surely create a gaudy monstrosity, so Chrysler chose to equip this particular Dart GT with just a handful of Mopar goodies, which still gave the car a nice and tasteful custom look that is available straight from the dealership (and with a full warranty, too).
Decked out in a factory color called Header Orange Clear Coat - also a very appropriate show car hue - this car added exterior styling parts such as the vented, carbon fiber hood, the bolt-on front chin spoiler and a matte black decklid spoiler. Looking inside the car, you'd think the red-accented interior is part of the Mopar parts bin, too, but this is actually what the standard Dart GT cabin will look like when it goes on sale.

Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.
