1969 Dodge Dart Gt Mopar 4 Speed Running on 2040-cars

Year:1969 Mileage:100000

Merrifield, Minnesota, United States

This is a pretty rare Dart GT. I've never seen one optioned like this with the 4 speed, power windows, power disc brake, power steering etc. It may or may not be all factory optioned but I see nothing to indicate otherwise. The power windows look correct to me (factory wiring and window tracks in the doors). I cant imagine someone would go to all the work to change all that. This Dart was born a 273 small block car so the 318 is not the original motor but it does run real good and the car drives. Although it runs and drives I would strongly recomend you trailer it any distance as there are issues with the front end or something, it has a shake. You can see by the pictures it will need sheet metal work done to the body but I believe the frame rails are solid, the floor boards are decent and the trunk floor is good except where the spare tire goes. I'm open to offers, trades or cash. I'm raising money to complete my 68 Charger build and that's the only reason I'm sacrificing my Mopars. I have the clear title in my hand ready to transfer with no issues. I also have a fiberglass 6 pack hood I can let go with the car for the right money. I'll provide you any info or pictures you want upon request as I want you to know what you're buying. Who knows this may be one of very few Darts built in 69. I do know for sure that any parts needed to make this thing new are available through AMD. It does have the small bolt patern wheels (4 inch) and the rearend is not the 8 3/4. Ask questions and bid to own it as I intend this car to find a good home. I reserve the right to end this auction any time as the car is for sale locally or I may just change my mind and keep it if I get a bunch of shit over it. Dont piss around, if you want the car make me a offer cause it wont last long for no more than what I'm willing to sell it for. If you're willing to restore this Mopar back to it's glory then make a serious offer. I will deliver the Dart for the cost of fuel if the thing is paid for in full....Period! I have other Mopars for sale on here as well so check my lisings and keep in mind I am ONLY selling to finish my Charger. Call Doug at 218-821-4394 any time. Thanks and good luck.

Does the future of Fiat-Chrysler include Dodge?

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

Wards Auto reports the future of Dodge is looking uncertain. Fiat has more or less laid out it's game plan for the next few years, and while the Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep lines are set to receive plenty of love, Dodge isn't so lucky. Fiat has already hobbled Dodge significantly by splitting off the brand's trucks into a separate Ram line.
Wards says that after the Avenger rides off into the sunset early next year, Fiat-Chrysler won't replace the model, leaving a gaping midsize hole in the Dodge lineup. The report also cites unnamed sources as saying that at least two other current Dodge products will move to the Chrysler line.
One of those could very well be the Grand Caravan. Chrysler has already made it clear that it plans to trim redundancy between its minivan offerings, but it has yet to clarify which other vehicle could sail under the Chrysler banner moving forward. Either way, such changes to the product line would theoretically leave Dodge with just four models.

Dodge Journey gets more SUV-like look with new Crossroad model

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

Looking to play up its aging three-row crossover, Dodge will introduce a new model for its Journey franchise at next week's Chicago Auto Show. The 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad will be a new trim level positioned between the SXT and Limited, and it will be distinguished from other Journey models thanks to a handful of styling add-ons.
Plucking a page right out of the appearance playbook of the Ford Explorer Sport, the Journey Crossroad gets a meaner, more SUV-like demeanor. The Journey has often straddled the line between tall wagon and crossover, but this new trim goes a long way toward skewing its visuals toward the utility vehicle end of the spectrum. That's thanks largely to the Platinum chrome exterior trim on its roof rails and side sills, unique fascias, smoked headlights and taillights and, of course, those black 19-inch wheels. Inside, the Journey Crossroad will get a similar treatment, with darker, Liquid Graphite accents throughout the cabin, and the model will also come standard with leather seats (which Dodge says are a new design), and Chrysler's giant 8.4-inch Uconnect screen.
The 2014 Journey Crossroad goes on sale this spring with a starting price of $24,995 (*not including $995 for destination) for the four-cylinder, front-wheel-drive model, but Dodge says that the model will also be offered with more power and capability from the optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and all-wheel-drive. Scroll down for the full press release, and check back next week for our live coverage from Chicago.

2013 Dodge Dart GT offers subtle menace in compact form

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Dodge has already shared all of the relevant information about its all-new 2013 Dart GT, but it wasn't until now that we've seen the car, live and in person. The slightly meaner front fascia and bigger wheels look great on the Dodge, and the red-on-black perforated seats are sporting in an aftermarket sort of way.
To recap: The Dart GT also gets a bit more power, using a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to make 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A starting price of $20,995 will get you LED taillights, dual exhaust, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch TFT display.
Feel free to re-acquaint yourselves with the full Dodge Dart GT information in the press release below, or have a leisurely browse through our gallery of live images.
