For sale is a 1969 Dodge Dart GT Convertible. The car is 1 of 1857 Dart GT convertibles. The car is Blue on Blue with a white top. Options include power steering, manual brakes, power top, remote drivers side view mirror, 273 CID 4bbl V8 engine, automatic transmission, aftermarket AM/FM stereo, and Rally wheels. The car has been well cared for, kept in dry storage, and lightly restored & maintained by the previous owner, over the last 25 years.

The interior and top, were redone about 8 years ago, and are still in great condition. The only sign of age is slight fading of the carpets. The exterior was done over 20 years ago, receiving replacement metal to the rear quarters and trunk. The paint and body work are starting to show signs of age. There are chips, scratches, and bubbling here and there, however the exterior is it still very presentable. This is NOT a rusty car! The floors, inner fenders, trunk, firewall, and all structural items are in excellent condition.

This car runs & drives well, and can be driven home and enjoyed "AS IS" without worry. Based on Hagerty's scale, I would classify the car as a #3 driver. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Trades are also acceptable, please no junk.

Please note the car is also available locally.

Amazon opens contest for The Grand Tour tickets in the US

Thu, Jul 7 2016

British enthusiasts already had the opportunity to win tickets to the first taping of The Grand Tour, and now Amazon has opened up a similar chance for customers in the US. In celebration of Prime Day, which starts today, customers in the US can enter The Grand Tour Prime Day Prize Draw. The prize includes travel, $200 to spend, accommodation, and a meet and greet with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. Customers that are interested fulfilling a childhood dream should visit Amazon's website and fill out the entry form soon as the draw closes on July 12. The Grand Tour will launch this fall as an exclusive for Amazon Prime members with the exact city locations for studio records set to be revealed later this summer. Amazon, however, did reveal that the trio will host shows in the UK, US, and Germany. So there's no need to get too upset if you don't win the draw. With Top Gear getting a major shakeup with the departure of Chris Evans, we're itching to see Clarkson, Hammond, and May behind the wheel of cars again. The trio, it seems, is also excited to get the new show rolling as Clarkson posted a drifty video on his Facebook page. The trio are currently in Italy filming a comparison between an Aston Martin DB11, a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and Rolls-Royce Dawn. The five-second clip has the Challenger Hellcat and DB11 drifting head-on into the camera crew, which is behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo. Chrysler recalling 280k Dodge Ram 1500 pickups over axle seizures

Fri, Dec 19 2014

Following a June investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will be recalling 280,000 Dodge Ram pickups from model year 2005. The issue, NHTSA told The Detroit News, centered on a loose pinion nut, which could cause the rear axle to seize and, potentially, the driveshaft to detach. The affected vehicles were built between January of 2004 and August of 2005, while of the 280,000 trucks, only 257,000 were sold in the US market. According to The News, the recall will begin on February 13, and will see owners report to dealerships to have "a retention feature" added to the pinion nut.

NHTSA probing Ram recall pace, communication

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.
