I bought this car to put a V8 in. The slant six 225 ran very good and the push button automatic transmission did real good too. It has A-body big bolt pattern with front disc brakes and drums in rear, 8 3/4" rear with 4.10 positive gears. I have all the trim for the car and it is in good condition. The original gas tank had a hole in it so I cut the floor out of the trunk redid it and put a 20 gallon fuel cell in it. It has rust over the rear fender wells. I reskinned the front of the trunk lid because it had rust in it too. The only thing I do not have to put it back together is the intake, headers, and carburetor. I sold them. Over all this car is extremely solid and rust free. Please ask any questions you may have and thanks for looking.

Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango to lose color options temporarily
Wed, 19 Nov 2014In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.

That's where Barrett-Jackson will auction off the very first example. And you'd better bring your checkbook, because the bidding is sure to be fierce with all the proceeds going to charity.
The supercharged Challenger with VIN 0001 has been hand-painted in Stryker Red (usually reserved for the Viper) and features special badging, documentation and accompanying memorabilia - not to mention, of course, that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. The car will be on display this weekend as well at Barrett-Jackson's Hot August Nights auction in Reno.
Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper
Fri, 08 Feb 2013It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.
