I have for sale a 1964 Dodge Dart 4 door sedan. It has a 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, air conditioner. It has been stored 20 years and needs work to get it drivable. The engine does run and transmission goes in gear. It would need the brakes fixed and the fuel system cleaned out. It does have some rust on the rear fenders as shown in pics. The floors are solid and the trunk as well. The interior is in good shape and all original. The headliner needs repair. This car can be made into a driver as is or easy restoration. I have not found the keys and hope to have them by end of sale. The tires are no good. They hold air but are not safe to drive on.The only part missing is a chrome strip around the back window. Otherwise it is 100% complete. I have the original owners manual that goes with it.I have a reasonable reserve on this car. If you have any questions you can call me at 812 455 2825. It became the flame that started the fire of belief in the next life of Chrysler.
I just sold a car. Nothing new. Millions do it every day. But my car was a 1995 Dodge Viper, so maybe it was a bit more unique since just 12,000 were built. And like others selling a car that's been a part of the family for close to 20 years, this was a confluence of emotions for me. I was sad to see it go, but happy to have the cash and one less big, shiny, under-utilized object in my life.
