1966 Dart. Unrestored. 92785 total miles. Original upolstray. No damage history. No rust. Very stock. Never a teenager's car.
Dodge slant six auto. Runs and drives perfect, good mileage. I drive this car daily so there will be a little more miles added each day.
Starts right up each cold morning after a few pumps. Doesn't smoke, doesn't leak anything, tranny is perfect, everything works.
A couple of body issues, passenger door (shown in pic's). Also the trunk lid has some paint problems. (shown in pic's)
The bumpers and other chrome are perfect. The grill and other aluminum are 98% good. The pic's were shot while the car was
wet so it appears more shiny in the pic's than it is. The interior is basically OK. It could use a complete set of arm rests.
This car was sold in Canada new in 1966. The body style is a Dodge Dart but Canada calls it a Valiant....? I have the original
receipt and accompanying paperwork. The title says VAL4D. These cars were made in a simpler time and is the ultimate in non-
complicated design and maintenance.
When I drive it I see a lot of folks staring. I often get a smile with a "thumbs up."

QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football
Fri, 16 May 2014The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
Dodge shows can-do attitude with grand Can'avan sculpture
Fri, 01 Nov 2013There are lots of ways to celebrate an important birthday, and all of them are well deserved. You can throw a big party, buy yourself something nice, or - if you're the altruistic type - do something for others in need. The latter is how Chrysler has opted to mark the 30th anniversary of its Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.
Together with hunger-advocacy organization Canstruction, the Chrysler Foundation has built a full-scale replica of the Grand Caravan out of 30,000 food cans in the square at the corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto, a ways down the highway from where the real vans are built in Windsor. The sculpture was built over the course of 10 hours by 30 volunteers and was displayed earlier this week.
Now the installation is being taken down, and the cans of food are being donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, which will assemble them into 2,000 food baskets to be distributed to those in need through its network of 200 food banks across the Canadian metropolis. Check out a neat time-lapse video of the build and the press release below.
40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax
Thu, 24 Jul 2014
The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
