2003 Dodge Dakota R/T muscle truck in excellent condition. Considered to be one of the cleanest R/T's in the country!
Full vehicle history provided in a binder with every receipt for both performance parts and maintenance items. Two bins full of extra parts and stock parts are also included.
Odometer currently has less than 19,300 miles and a brand new 6.6 liter 402 cubic inch V-8 rests under the hood with 200 miles on the engine. The engine was machined and short block assembly done by Arrow Racing Engines, Chrysler's Viper engine dyno test and warranty center http://www.arrowracingengines.com. Truck sounds excellent and pushes you hard into the seat when you put your foot down! This R/T is not for the faint at heart. Gets a lot of attention and even a few surprises when it idles by.
Body and paint are excellent, great shine and deep color. Moore SRT hood is included and has the heat extractor option included. Only real blemish is a small dent above the drivers door handle and the bed has some scratches and scuffs from no bedliner.
Interior is also excellent. Looks brand new, husky floor liners have kept the carpet perfect and are included. Also included is a G-Tech EGS gauge system. The EGS has full OBD-2 monitoring capability and wide band O2 for data logging http://www.gtechpro.com/egs.html
The suspension has been lowered with Western Chassis front A-arms and rear hangers with QA-1 fully adjustable shocks at all four corners. The shocks can let you ride in comfort or firm it up to take corners hard. Tires are factory Goodyear Eagle RSA's, plenty of tread left but have no chance against the new engine.
four-speed automatic Transmission and 3.92 limited slip rear end are factory stock except for a driveshaft loop, high capacity transmission pan, and high strength rear end cover.

Experience the New York Auto Show by drone
Fri, Apr 10 2015The Autoblog team recently returned from wildly running around the Javits Center to cover all the news and debuts at the New York Auto Show. Sometimes, it's nice to take a more serene look at the exhibition floor, though, and the event's organizers are providing that exact opportunity by flying a drone through the hall. Combined with the down-tempo music, this clip feels like a form of automotive meditation. If you're going to miss the show in the Big Apple, the drone also provides a good overview at the exhibition floor, especially at the stands from Lexus, Buick, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and BMW. Plus, it's a fun way to see some vehicles from a completely different angle than they ever appear on the road. Dodge CEO and Gas Monkey Garage dissect the 10-second Challenger Hellcat
Fri, 11 Jul 2014So far, whenever we've seen the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 707-horsepower, supercharged Hellcat V8, the muscle car has been smoking its tires. Dodge is finally proving that the SRT can do more than ruin perfectly good sets of rubber, though. In it's latest video, company CEO Tim Kuniskis hands the Hellcat off to the guys from Gas Monkey Garage to show how quickly the automaker's most powerful model can make it down the drag strip.
Of course, the only fitting contender to race against Dodge's latest top muscle car is its grandpa - a Hemi-powered 1971 Challenger, in this case. Before getting to the main event, the hosts also show off some of the SRT's unique features like the blanks in the grille that feed the intercoolers. We'll go ahead and spoil that the Hellcat makes its pass in the 10-second range, and the video admits the tires on the production version would take just a touch longer to cover the quarter-mile. However, you have to watch film to see just how quick it actually goes. Scroll down to see a classic example of American muscle drag racing against its modern legacy.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/videos]
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Darrell Waltrip once said, "If the lion didn't bite the tamer every once in a while, it wouldn't be exciting." The sentiment behind that aphorism is causing my adrenal gland to wake up as Dodge and SRT drivers and engineers - somber-faced to a man - give me the track talk that will precede my driving the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT on the circuit at Portland International Raceway. PIR might not be Daytona, and the 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat might seem tame to a legend like ol' Jaws, but there's a not-small part of me that's thinking about how hard Dodge's fire-breathing kitty might bite.
Just a few hours previous, I'd gotten behind the wheel of the Hellcat for the first time, letting its hyperbole-spitting, supercharged V8 Hemi pull me yieldingly through Portland's morning commuter traffic. Lulled into a cocky certainty by the Challenger's good manners at low speed, I drove the throttle just a hair too deep, too fast when I ran on to the highway ramp. For just an instant the rear tires were utterly drenched in torque, and the back end of the big Dodge loosened up like a drift car on a wet track. Throttle steer lives at the fleeting whim of your right foot in this car.
It was no big thing to lay off the gas and pull the Hellcat back in line as I entered the highway, but the incident did get me to thinking: What will this car do to me on a road course?
