THIS IS A 2003 DODGE DAKOTA 4WD, CREW CAB WITH A 4.7 ENGINE. THE TRUCK HAS 126000 MILES ON IT, I AM DRIVING IT DAILY BACK AND FORTH TO WORK SO I WILL HAVE A FEW MORE MILES BY THE TIME SOMEONE BUYS IT. THE TRUCK HAS A 2 WAY VIPER REMOTE START, IT HAS A MATCHING RANCH TOPPER AND HAS NEWER TIRES. THE TRUCK HAD A NEW TRANSMISSION INSTALLED ABOUT A YEAR AGO RIGHT BEFORE I BOUGHT IT, YOU CAN TELL IT IS NEWER BECAUSE IT SHIFTS SMOOTH AND WORKS FLAWLESSLY. THE TRUCK ALSO RUNS LIKE A CHAMP, IT HAS NEVER GIVEN ME ANY TROUBLE. THE ONLY THING I DID TO IT WAS PUT NEW TIRES ON IT AND HAVE THE REMOTE START INSTALLED. IT HAD A CLEAN CARFAX AND I GOT REAR ENDED, VERY LIGHTLY, SO I AM NOT SURE IF THAT WILL SHOW UP ON CARFAX OR NOT BUT IT WAS VERY LIGHT HIT AND THE REAR BUMPER ON IT NOW IS ALL THE DAMAGED IT CAUSED, THE PERSON THAT HIT ME HAD NO INSURANCE AND YOU CAN BARELY TELL THERE IS DAMAGED SO I NEVER HAD IT REPAIRED BUT IF IT SHOWS UP YOU CAN SEE FIRST HAND HOW LIGHT THE HIT WAS. BESIDES THE RER BUMPER THE ONLY OTHER THING WRONG WITH THE TRUCK IS IT IS MISSING 3 OF THE LITTLE 2 INCH WHEEL CENTERS WHICH HAS THE SMALL DODGE HEAD EMBLEM ON THEM, I ORDERED THEM TODAY AND THEY SHOULD BE HERE IN A FEW DAYS SO THEY WILL BE ON THERE BY THE TIME SOMEONE BUYS THE TRUCK. EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE TRUCK WORKS PERFECTLY, A/C BLOWS ICE COLD AIR, HEAT WORKS GREAT, ALL THE POWER OPTIONS WORK PROPERLY INCLUDING THE CRUISE CONTROL. I DRIVE THIS LONG DISTANCES ALL THE TIME WITH NO WORRIES, THE ENGINE IS AS SOLID AS THEY COME. I FORGOT, IT DID HAVE A TUNE-UP RIGHT BEFORE WINTER AND NEW BRAKES LAST FALL. I DO HAVE THE TITLE IN HAND AND AM READY TO SELL THIS TRUCK I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW, IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND WILL ANSWER THEM RIGHT AWAY. Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Redline revs into Chicago
Fri, 01 Feb 2013When Dodge released the Challenger Rallye Redline last year, it brought a new dimension of styling to the car's classic muscle car lines, but it was only available in V6 form lacking the oomph to back up its sinister appearance. To remedy that situation, Dodge is unveiling the Challenger R/T Redline, powered by a Hemi V8 engine, at the Chicago Auto Show.
Other than the extra cylinders, most of the R/T's Redline package carries over from the Rallye model including the custom-look 20-inch black chrome wheels with red paint accents, but the R/T version of the package gets more of a retro look to the side stripes with graphite graphics featuring Redline lettering. Cars equipped with the six-speed manual transmission will get a performance-tuned, low-restriction exhaust allowing the engine to produce 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque; cars with the five-speed auto are rated at 372 hp and 400 lb-ft, but they do offer a bright chrome Mopar t-handle shifter and steering wheel paddle shifters.
The R/T Redline Group is offered only on cars painted in Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Pitch Black, and it adds just $1,995 to the MSRP of the Challenger R/T (starting at $31,990) and the Challenger R/T Plus (starting at $33,990), which adds features like Nappa leather and Boston Acoustics speakers.
2014 Dodge Durango leaks ahead of NY rollout
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Even though Chrysler will reportedly discontinue the Dodge Durango after the current model's lifespan - said to be around 2016 - that isn't stopping the automaker from improving its full-size, three-row SUV. The vehicle won't debut at the New York Auto Show until tomorrow, but images are already leaking out ahead of the embargo lift, and they show that the 2014 model is getting even more aggressive styling to go with more technology inside and out.
Dodge limited its early press shots of the new Durango to just the R/T trim level, but this new look adds a meaner look to this model with more dramatic projector-beam headlights along with a "floating" crosshair grille and a restyled fascia. At the rear of the Durango, LED racetrack taillights show a family resemblance to the Charger and Dart, while a new rear fascia adds to the styling while also allowing for an integrated trailer hitch.
On the tech side, the instrument panel looks to have been redesigned to include a standard seven-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) gauge cluster, and it also appears as if Chrysler's well-liked UConnect system has been updated with the 8.4-inch touchscreen found in other Chrysler vehicles. The 2013 model's conventional console shifter has been replaced by a rotary knob for gear selection, suggesting that there are transmission changes afoot as well.
