Price Reduced!!! For sale a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport Quad Cab 4X4 pickup truck. I am second owner, it had 10,000 miles on it. Like new gray cloth interior, with bucket seats and fold up rear seats( no tears or rips). It has the 4.7L V8 with 116460 miles. Well maintained, with service records, oil changed every three thousand miles. It has ac, pw, pl, cruise, tilt wheel(no working) cd and cassette player, cold air intake, throttle body spacer( for better gas mileage), custom 3" duel exhaust, bed liner, matching cap. With in the last two years she has had all fluids changed ( transfer case, both rear ends, trans, engine coolant, new radiator, both rear wheel cylinders replaced, pinion seal in the rear end replaced, new tires, new shocks, 4-wheel drive switch replaced. Clear coat is pealing on the passenger side front fender. This truck is solid, with only rust coming through on the rear bumper. It is inspected till 5/14. You could drive this any where, looks great, sounds great and runs great. The only reason for selling I want to buy a Dodge Magnum. I have clear title in hand. Truck comes with no warranty. IIHS says these are the safest cars of 2013
Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has revealed its annual list of Top Safety Picks, an award that highlights automobiles it says offer "superior crash protection." A new and still more significant award, the Top Safety Pick+ honor, is given to those vehicles that earn good ratings for occupant protection in four out of five areas of measure. And while some 117 vehicles were given the TSP seal of approval for 2013, just 13 passed muster for TSP+.
To be fair, IIHS only evaluated 29 vehicles with its new testing procedures for TSP+ (we'd expect that the number of qualified cars will rise substantially for 2014). Luxury and Near Luxury midsize cars were the first groups evaluated, followed by midsizers in the Moderately Priced Cars category - unsurprisingly, it's only midsize cars that you'll find among the class this year.
Only two luxury sedans made the list of 13 for 2013: the Acura TL and Volvo S60. The other 11 cars on the list included entries from domestic, Japanese and German car makers: Dodge Avenger, Chrysler 200, Ford Fusion, Honda Accord (sedan and coupe), Kia Optima (but not its close kin, the Hyundai Sonata, strangely), Nissan Altima, Subaru Legacy and Outback, Suzuki Kizashi and the Volkswagen Passat all made the grade.

Furious 7 is in theaters right now, and based on the trailer, it promises the biggest stunts ever from the long-running franchise. And in just a few weeks, Mad Max: Fury Road hits cinemas to add a dystopian tinge to the automotive action. Dodge Viper might not live past 2017
Wed, Oct 14 2015The Dodge Viper might be running out of venom because the muscle-bound sports car could be on the road to being cancelled in just a few years. According to Allpar, the proposed deal between the United Auto Workers and FCA US would close the Connor Avenue Assembly plant, which produces the Viper, in 2017. The proposed union contract doesn't give a reason for closing the factory, but the decision is understandable if frustrating. The plant was idled twice last year to reduce production of the Viper to match flagging demand. A $15,000 price cut for the coupe eventually allowed for a sales surge, but that appetite hasn't continued in 2015. From January through September of this year, the company has only moved 503 of the sports cars, down eight percent. To further spur demand, Dodge has employed a few other tactics like the 1 of 1 program for buyers to personalize their Vipers, and the introduction of the brutally track-focused ACR. In a world where high-end sports cars are continuing to get friendlier for both their drivers and the environment, the Viper remains a holdout with a big, naturally aspirated V10. Even with the addition of some electronic aids on the latest Vipers, the snake still demands respect from those behind the wheel. Respect is fine, but sales are what matter to FCA – and the harsh reality is that a lack thereof might force the Viper into retirement, whether we like it or not.
