Some of the other rare options this car came with are: Hemi Orange paint, 4 speed console car, track pack car ( Dana with 3:54 gears, black interior, black wrap around stripe).

The Engine is not #'s matching but it is a date era HP block.  The motor has been rebuilt.  The cam has a nice lope-not radical.  The heads have also been rebuilt.  The car runs great.  It hasn't been driven more than a couple of miles since it has been built so it needs a couple of adjustments.  I can think of the clutch pedal and an ailment.

This was a nice clean car when I got it. I sent the car to a local bodyshop and had it painted with PPG's Deltron base and PPG clear.  They did a real good job w/the car.  The car is very straight and looks great.  The bumpers and bumper guards have all been rechromed.  The numbers on the radiator support match the sequence numbers.  The car also has the skid plate on the K member and 7 leaf springs.

The front suspension has been rebuilt with a Just Suspensions kit.  The brakes are all new as well as the shocks.  I bought a brand new Dana 60 with the 3:54 gears.  New gas tank and sending unit.  The car has 15 inch Mopar wheels and new BF Goodrich tires.  All of the exhaust has been replaced and I had some 2.5 inch stainlees steel tips welded in.

The interior is all new: carpet, door panels, window felts, deluxe tray, seat divider, sill plates, headliner, chrome armrest holders, and window cranks.  The dashpad is also in great shape.  I put a new woodgrain kit on the dash, I would recommend the actual plates the PG classics sales because the are separating.

This is a nice car that needs a new home.  The car is nice but not concours nice.  It would be great for local car show.

This is a very rare car.  They didn't make very many 6 pack Bees in Hemi Orange 4 speed.  The reserve is very fair and ONLY BID IF YOU PLAN ON PAYING THIS CAR!!!  Please contact me if I can send you more pictures or answer any questions.  7one9-48zero-9758

Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.
We'll know more when the Mopar '14 Challenger is revealed at the SEMA show in early November. In the meantime, click the image above to check out the teaser in high resolution, and have a look below for Chrysler's official press blast.

Mopar Hellephant crate engine sells out in 48 hours

Sun, May 5 2019

This happened so quickly that we're only just catching up with it. Mopar opened pre-orders on the 7.0-liter Hellephant Hemi crate engine on April 26, which is Hemi Day. According to Allpar, hubbub on social media not long after that day claimed Mopar had gone through all of its Hellephant stock. When Allpar asked Fiat Chrysler for clarification, a spokesperson e-mailed, "Given the high demand and the hand-built, time-intensive build process, we have closed preordering for the 426 Hellephant Supercharged HEMI crate engine. Based on preorders, the engine sold out in just two days. Customers can visit www.cratehemi.com to receive future information and updates on the 'Hellephant' engine." No one is certain how many engines Mopar sold. Allpar wrote, "Industry insiders believe Mopar may be making around 100," but reiterated that it's a guess. The engine and the ordering process have their peculiarities. Mopar Insiders explained that Tool Engineering International helped create the 426-cubic-inch block, and that the Hellephant engine "shares nothing except for displacement with the rumored upcoming 7.0-liter 426 Hemi V8." On the Hellcat.org forum, a poster wrote that the engines "can only be sold through a dealer and that the dealers can only order 1 engine per week." The Hellephant doesn't come with Mopar's three-year, 100,000-mile warranty, either. During a press briefing last October, FCA officials said they weren't sure about offering any warranty. Based on the motor being given a part number starting with the letter P, there is a bit of protection, but it's a 90-day limited warranty covering "defects in materials or wokmanship," and only applies to engines not used in competition. For those who didn't get the opportunity to drop $29,995 for 1,000 horsepower and 950 pound-feet of torque, the best bet is to hope for the return of Apollyon's pachyderm. Motor1 wrote that "Rumors hint at... another limited run scheduled for next year due to overwhelming demand." That's thin thread to hang a Hellephant from, but it beats bupkis.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit is ready to serve and protect

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Okay speed freaks, it's time to update your cheat sheet of police headlights, as Dodge has just unveiled the new 2015 Charger sedan's police variant, the Pursuit.
Like previous Charger Pursuits, the 2015 model is based on a modified version of the civilian sedan, featuring the same basic batch of mechanicals and sheetmetal, while adding a number of items specific to the five-oh.
For 2015, cops can select from the same 3.6-ltier V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 available to the civilian population, with former turning out 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and the latter packing 370 ponies and 390 lb-ft. Even loaded down with equipment, Dodge claims the Hemi-powered cop car can hit 60 miles per hour in under six seconds, while both engines are expected return 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode). Rear-wheel drive is standard with both engines, while V8 Pursuits can be fitted with all-wheel drive.
