1969 Dodge Coronet R/T, Very rare low production original Coronet R/T (Only 4810 Produced). It has received a complete frame-off rotisserie restoration to mopar specs. It has been decoded correct as "numbers matching" with various receipts.This car has 16,900 actual miles and has insurance policies from the past to verify mileage. I also have original build sheet! It is powered by it's correct Numbers Matching 440ci 375 HP high performance engine. Zero rust repair, all original body panels. Original options include power steering, bucket seats, console, ram charger hood, side air scoops, AM radio, dana, road and track suspension, steel magnum rims with redline tires and more. Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.

Gauging reaction to the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit on Detroit highways
Sat, Feb 7 2015Steven Ewing and I kind of pretended to be cops a few weeks ago. No, not in the illegal way; we just took turns driving the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit around Detroit and its suburbs, learning invaluable life lessons along the way. A lot of those lessons came in the form of weird reactions from other drivers. Steve peeved his neighbors by surprising them in the parking lot, I can damn close to sitting in jail next to a murderer and we both caught our fair share of evil-eyed glances. One of my very first observations was a pronounced "bubble effect" when driving in traffic on the highway. Attempting to recreate the effect for the video camera, I grabbed Senior Producer Chris McGraw and we went for a ride in the name of pseudo psychology. The results weren't exactly as we'd predicted, but we had fun all the same. Get one more dose of your cop car fix, above.
