I purchased my 1967 Dodge R/T Coronet here on Ebay back in 2004. The car had 1 prior owner who purchased it new on December 17, 1966. I have copies of the original Title issued in 1966 with a purchase price of $3,052.44. I also have copies of the yearly registrations up to 1980. The car is all original and rust free. It's a true WS23 R/T with the original numbers matching 440 and  727 transmission. The original color of the car was Turbine Bronze, somewhere along the way it was painted red. The interior is all original and perfect, not rips or tears.


  • To look at the car it looks exactly like it did in 1967. The body is solid with no rust or filler.
  • The Chrome is all original and amazing. All the emblems are original and intact.
  • The engine runs strong and has the original exhaust manifolds. The radiator has the original tanks, but has been re-cored.
  • The transmission is solid, no slips or noises.
  • All tie rod ends and bushings have been replaced.
  • KYB shocks have been installed.
  • Can came with 14" steel wheels and Dodge Hubcaps, which I still have. I have added 15" Magnum 500 wheels.
  • Original Air-Conditioning blows cold. I had the compressor re-built. Still runs on R-12 Refrigerant.
  • I replaced the mufflers and exhaust. Still has the original chrome exhaust tips, which were a 1 year option.
  • Has the original AM radio, but I've added a CD player inside the glove box.
  • Has the original CERTICARD vehicle identification plate
  • Has the original Owners Manual.
  • Added electronic ignition from FBO. They convert the original distributor so everything looks stock.
  • Added a Barry Grant 650cfm Road Demon Carb, but still have the AFB style.
  • Originally had front drum brakes, but have upgraded to disk. I have the original front drums.
It's been garage kept since I've purchased it back in 2004. I drive it about once a month to keep the fluids moving. I would like to find a good home for this car with someone that will appreciate it. I don't have the time to enjoy it like I should.

Man hits 153 mph on I-75 in Dodge Magnum

A man driving in Michigan took his 2005 Dodge Magnum practically to the limit in the wee hours of the morning on May 19 when the Michigan State Police caught him on radar going 153 miles per hour on Interstate 75 near Detroit. The 21-year-old driver was spotted around 3:00 AM, according to The Detroit News. Michigan State Police First Lieutenant Michael Shaw told Autoblog that officers initially saw the man on radar doing 79 mph in a 70-mph-zone, and they started following him. He eventually clocked 153 mph. However, First Lt. Shaw was clear that there was never a pursuit. "Speeding isn't necessarily a reason to put the public at risk," he said. The situation ended rather abruptly, though. The driver pulled off the interstate and behind a building. He remained in the vehicle, and police arrived and arrested him. According to First Lt. Shaw, the man was driving home from work and alcohol wasn't a factor. The Magnum has been impounded, and the driver was charged with reckless driving. Unfortunately, First Lt. Shaw said that he didn't know what engine was in the wagon, but as enthusiasts, we're curious. After all, the 2005 Magnum RT was governed to 130 mph and the SRT8 wasn't unleashed until 2006, which means either the wagon must've been derestricted to hit such high speeds or that police have the year wrong. NHTSA investigates FCA for SUVs that roll out of Park

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening a preliminary evaluation into the 2014 Dodge Durango and 2014-205 Jeep Grand Cherokee after 14 complaints of the SUVs rolling out of Park. An estimated 408,000 of them could be affected, if a recall is necessary. All of the current complaints submitted to NHTSA about the issue concern the Grand Cherokee, and the claims allege that the SUV can roll out of Park whether or not the engine is running. Some folks report that they check the indicator each time because the gear sometimes fails to engage. Among the 14 cases, there are five accounts of crashes and three injuries, including a situation with someone allegedly being rolled over. NHTSA's preliminary evaluations are meant to investigate "the scope, frequency, and safety-related consequence" of a reported problem. They don't necessarily lead to a recall. Junkyard Gem: 1992 Dodge Shadow America

A quarter-century ago, most Americans looking for a cheap transportation appliance went for cars like the miserably-stripped-down-but-bulletproof Toyota Tercel or the feature-laden-but-reliability-challenged Hyundai Excel. Chrysler, having just discontinued the elderly "Omnirizon" platform, took the Dodge Shadow and its Plymouth sibling, the Sundance and offered a car that was bigger, more powerful, and better-equipped than just about anything else for the price: the America! These cars depreciated hard and nearly all were crushed a decade ago, so sightings are extremely rare today. Here's one that I found in a Northern California self-service yard. This one still had windshield paperwork indicating that it was an insurance-company auction car (probably totaled in a fender-bender that caused $200 worth of damage) and that it was a runner at the time it got junked. Such is the fate of 24-year-old economy cars in rough shape. The Shadow was a member of the many-branched K-Car family tree, and the Shadow America came with the same 2.2-liter straight-4 engine that powered millions of Caravans, Daytonas, New Yorkers, and Lasers. You got more torque than the competition, plus a driver's-side airbag instead of the maddening automatic seat belts found in other low-priced cars of 1992. Of course, the paint tended to peel off within a few years and the build quality of the Shadow was hit-or-miss, but these cars were way nicer to drive than, say, a Tercel EZ or Subaru Justy.
