Here we have a1967 coronet rt in excellent condition, not a full car show display vehicle but very nice driver and respectable cruise night vehicle.this car has had an extensive frame on restoration some years ago by previous owner, have just driven it and enjoyed it myself. to start, this is a real rt not a clone, I do have certicard. It has a rock solid body with all original panels, rust free floors, trunk, rockers, numbers matching core support, rust free body, there is a little filler in lower quarters but super clean car needing no rust repair. One repaint base/clear done in original red. Paint is 8.5 out of 10, maybe better. Engine is a 72 rb 440 performance rebuilt runs great everything new, rebuilt 727 trans with cheetah valve body reverse manual shift, rebuilt 8 3/4 sure grip posi with 4.10 gears.cruises @ 55mph on freeway all day if you choose.this car has new exhaust, brakes, gearbox, steering components, gas tank, battery, carpet, legendary seat covers, everything has been gone through, I've just driven and maintained it since I've owned it. (2+years) the headlight surrounds are a little beat up but I will include a super nice grill and surrounds I bought for $1000. As I will no longer need them and I just never had time to switch item out, also a new repop fan shroud.the car is being offered at a low reserve as I am serious about selling.500 non refundable deposit due at auction end by winning bidder through pay pal, rest of funds within 7 days by bank wire transfer or cash before car or title leaves my hands! Good luck , bid to win as this is being offered with a low reserve and will only go up in value, my interests have just changed and would love for someone that really knows what this car really is to own it and love it as I have.thanks. Oops sorry I almost forgot to say the gas gauge isn't working now ,not sure why ,haven't had time to look.everything else works fine ,lights, heat, wipers, windows, etc, etc

Experience the Woodward Dream Cruise in a Dodge Challenger Hellcat
Thu, Aug 20 2015While Autoblog was consumed by coverage of the increasingly important Monterey Car Week last weekend, there was another big even going on. The Woodward Dream Cruise is significantly lighter in terms of news, but there's no denying that it's a far bigger, and far more egalitarian than what the wine-and-cheese crowd experience on the links at Pebble Beach. The Dream Cruise crams tens of thousands of cars and over a million spectators along a four-lane ribbon of asphalt between Ferndale and Pontiac, MI. What's remarkable aren't these numbers, though, so much as the distances they travel. Owners and admirers come from far and wide, across the United States and in some cases across the globe, to take in the spectacle. This year, local radio and television coverage featured fans that traveled from Japan, Australia, and Europe, just to take in the cruise. Of course, we realize that not everyone can make the pilgrimage to Woodward Avenue. With that fact in mind, we decided to bring a bit of the Dream Cruise to Autoblog with a time-lapse video of the cruise route. You can experience the good (a Lamborghini Gallardo, Chevrolet Chevelle, and Oldsmobile Cutlass 442), the bad (the traffic jams), and the ugly (no, your 2003 Ford Focus does not qualify as a classic, get the hell out of the cruiser lanes). So join us, as we turn off 8 Mile Road behind the wheel of our 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and run north, through Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak, Huntington Woods, Berkley, Bloomfield Township, and Bloomfield Hills, before ending up on Wide Track Drive in Pontiac.
Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango to lose color options temporarily
Wed, 19 Nov 2014In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.
Gauging reaction to the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit on Detroit highways
Sat, Feb 7 2015Steven Ewing and I kind of pretended to be cops a few weeks ago. No, not in the illegal way; we just took turns driving the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit around Detroit and its suburbs, learning invaluable life lessons along the way. A lot of those lessons came in the form of weird reactions from other drivers. Steve peeved his neighbors by surprising them in the parking lot, I can damn close to sitting in jail next to a murderer and we both caught our fair share of evil-eyed glances. One of my very first observations was a pronounced "bubble effect" when driving in traffic on the highway. Attempting to recreate the effect for the video camera, I grabbed Senior Producer Chris McGraw and we went for a ride in the name of pseudo psychology. The results weren't exactly as we'd predicted, but we had fun all the same. Get one more dose of your cop car fix, above.
