1966 dodge coronet 500 poly 318/727 tranny. bucket seats center console.

What I know about the car, I took it in a trade @ a year and a half ago. Car is in pretty good solid condition. Car sat for many years in a garage unused. It was repainted in the 80's as well as seats being recovered. I drove it twice, once around my block and the second time it started to have a fuel issue. got it back home and have not driven it since. I do not have the time for any more projects. I have two other projects not finished and this makes three. I work two jobs and involved in my kids activities so all that = no time.

Body appears very solid floors and trunk are solid as well. paint sucks it has scratches and chips in it. Car is starting to show some blisters in a couple of spots. all the trim is there. car needs some TLC. Carpet is faded as well as rear dash pad. Ignition switch sometimes acts up.

Drive train runs ok it does smoke upon start up but seam to clear after a few minutes of run time. has a small oil leak. Tranny shifts fine but it has a leak as well. No strange noises drove, rode, shifted, and stopped like a 48 year old car. Car does have power steering. If interested I have a very good 440/727 combo I will sell with the car for a additional $2500.00. All machine work was done a couple years ago by local shop Crank and Sleeve. motor is a 1968 440 D code 12.5:1  60 over, steel crank, 6 pack rods, balanced it is a 452 ci. Heads are 906 ported big valve 216 chevy intake valves bronze guides Teflon seals adj rockers. Tranny reverse valve body and a 3500 stall, plus some misc parts. No cam, intake etc. this motor needs final assembly.

Clear Ohio title in my name, odometer is marked non actual, doesn't seam to work. Certicard is with the car came out of Durham, North Carolina. I am not a mechanic or a body man, I try to give the best honest opinion on the car. I have nothing to hide you are more than welcome to come and look for yourself. Please do not waste my time with B.S. I do not give out my reserve price. Car will run the auction, if it does not sell I will list locally with fixed price. just trying to be fair. Please do not bid if you do not have your significant others blessing, or have the CASH! I do not need to sell I am NOT hurting for money. My number is 330-559-3995 James  call or text. Please leave a message if I don't answer. Emails will be slowest response. I will accept paypal for deposit only other than that its CASH ONLY!! No warrenty of any kind, written, expressed, or implied. sold as is and no refunds.

On Mar-29-14 at 15:19:14 PDT, seller added the following information:

I lowered the reserve, I believe it to be a very fair price for the car. I will consider partial trade on a Jeep the is street legal and trail ready, deck over trailer or equipment trailer (min 80'' between fenders),67 GMC parts or complete truck 2 wheel drive short bed. any questions just ask I do want to move on to my other projects. Thanks

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years

Tue, 06 May 2014

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.

Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.
