Up for sale is a 1966 Dodge Coronet 440. Since we purchased it in February it has cleaned up quite nicely. The paint has been buffed out and is good, but not show quality. A new CD player was installed. Some trim pieces were added. All the chrome and trim has been polished. A new exhaust has been installed. The interior has been professionally detailed and looks like new. The engine bay was also detailed and looks amazing.
The motor was tuned by a local Mopar specialist prior to us purchasing the car. It turns right over and runs smoothly with no hesitations, spits or sputters. The car reportedly had a 440, but was swapped with a 400 out of Super Bee. It has a new Edelbrock intake, carb and air cleaner. It also has a new alternator and ignition.
It's a really nice cruiser and is a very solid car. It's originally from New Jersey and has not seen any New York winters. The underneath is very clean. Tires have a lot of tread. Everything works inside and the radio sounds great. You can keep it as is, but it has great bones to take it to the next level.

2015 Dodge Charger configurator opens up shop

Your day is almost nigh, my friend While you're waiting, you can spec out how you'd want your muscle sedan to look as Dodge has included the revised four-door in its online configuration tool. Though it's not the most impressive or interactive of configurators we've seen, the site lets you choose any color you want (from the limited array available anyway) along with all the key options packages and such. First you'll need to choose a trim level though, but we're afraid the Hellcat version isn't part of this site, and the SRT site hasn't launched a configurator yet for the world's fastest production sedan, so you'll have to choose between SE, SXT and R/T trim levels. Dodge performance trio thrashed on Roadkill
Tue, Apr 14 2015Of all the shows that Motor Trend does, Roadkill is probably the last one we'd pick to evaluate the latest performance automobiles. That's not a slight against David Freiburger or Mike Finnegan, who host the show: they're certified gear-heads and the go-to guys when it comes to hot rods, rat rods and anything grungier than it is shiny. But as exemplary as they are of Detroit muscle, the Charger Hellcat, Challenger Hellcat and Viper are also shiny new pieces of metal. Still, since it will now be sponsoring the show, someone at Dodge apparently thought it would be a good idea to hand Freiburger and Finnegan the keys to the company's top performance models. So to ring the best out of them, they solicited help from some of their colleagues at MT, gained access to a closed-down air strip, devised as many ways as they could to destroy the tires, and proceeded to set about doing exactly that. Dodge Grand Caravan to live in fleets through 2017
Mon, Jun 22 2015After a hard-working career of hauling around families for decades, the Dodge Grand Caravan name was set to retire in 2016 under FCA's five-year plan for the US. The decision would have put all of the automaker's focus behind the next-generation Chrysler Town & Country, but that original strategy might have changed. Now, Dodge's minivan may have to work just a few more years before it can finally shuffle off. There are set to be 2016 and 2017 model year examples of the current Grand Caravan, according to an internal FCA production document obtained by Automotive News. This report suggests no changes in the minivan between those two years, and there's no mention of the company's intentions deeper into the future. "While we've announced the Grand Caravan will eventually be the minivan that goes away, we're not going into more detail at this time," a Dodge spokesperson said to AN. For the next Town & Country, production would start in Windsor, Ontario, in late February 2016. This document also suggests a brief run of 2016 Chrysler minivans based on the current model from August 2015 until February 2016. Automotive News speculates that the reprieve for the Grand Caravan could allow that model to focus on fleets and the Canadian market while the new Town and Country gets up and running. The latest generation T&C will reportedly debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show and will possibly carry a higher price to befit a vehicle with a more modern platform and improved tech.
